3 years ago I left a really bad review for CBC (see below).

Since then, the “bad manager” is long gone and the restaurant was sold. So new management is in place and I’m glad we gave them another chance.

We returned to CBC and met Daniel (manager), Melanie and Shane (bartenders). They gave us an incredible customer service experience and we loved talking to them.

Food was delicious and they had a great band playing. The beer (brewed in house) and the pizza were so good. I recommend the Blonde Pizza.

Now that they have great people working the place, the previous bad experience completely transformed to a great dining experience.

BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW (for historic purposes only) Yesterday (Friday), my wife and I decided to go out for dinner after not being out for quite a while. We like the food and drinks at CBC so we decided to go there. We arrived and the place was packed, the band Switch was playing (which we love) so everything was going great. We had 2 rounds of drinks at the bar and finally got a table. We ordered more drinks and also dinner. A few minutes later the drinks came and so did my wife's meal. My dinner (Pizza) was taking a little longer but my wife wanted to eat with me so she waited. FIFTEEN (15) minutes later, watching my wife's plate sitting untouched and getting cold in front of her I approached the waitress and told her that we came to have dinner TOGETHER and that the wait was unacceptable. I was so upset and disappointed! So I asked the waitress to bring me the check because we wanted to leave. She did not say a word and took off. A few minutes later, THE MANAGER came to table and after exchanging a few words with me he said: "YOU KNOW WHAT? THIS ONE IS ON ME, JUST DON'T EVER COMER BACK". I could not believe my ears. The manager telling a customer not to come back because the customer was unhappy about how long the food was taking. Incredible!!!!

So on the way out, I stopped at the bar to pay my bar tab and tip the bartender. While she runs my credit card, my original waitress comes from behind me, SLAMS an empty glass in front on me, INSULTS me, and leaves.

I supported CBC during the pandemic. I bought food and beer from them. I waited on the street many times because the establishment was closed and you had to wait outside.

Very disappointed and sad. I won't be...

Rave: There are two different brewery places that opened this year in old Clermont. Yesterday we tried the one that just opened three weeks ago. Clermont Brewery Company.

I liked the decor. From when you walk up for porch seating, to the indoor area, and even to the way the kitchen is set up. I like the bar with TVs around. They have live entertainment stage inside as well for the Friday and Saturdays. Even the restrooms were thought out with the ladies room more on the classy side and the men’s with the cool keg urinals. The outside area was my favorite. It is half covered and half not. They had a separate bar, dart games, a small stage with live music, ample seating.

The food. Well for now, since they opened recently three weeks ago, they have two separate menus one for lunch and one for dinner served after 4. We ate lunch (brick oven pizza) and ordered the kids pizzas (not on the menu but are offered only in pepperoni or cheese - my kids want grown up size the next time we go lol) The pizza we got for lunch was the Diablo. Loved it. If you like spicy, get it.

Then we grownups came back with friends at dinner time to get the hummus appetizer and the Sushi and both did not disappoint. I got all four sushi rolls they offer and they were so tasty, Dream On my favorite. We even all enjoyed the hummus and flatbread. My friends got the BBQ Pizza and they loved it. Next time I want to try their Nachos! We ended the night with two of the four desserts offered and those were so delicious. Tuxedo bomb is literally the bomb!

Employees: Every single one of them were fantastic and friendly. The hostess ladies were sweet. I asked the manager lots of questions and he was so helpful and genuinely just a nice guy. The bartenders were fast and made good mixed drinks and according to my husband and friends the beer was good. Our server was so funny and patient.

They sell shirts and of course I got one because I wore a sweatshirt and after drinking and eating and going outside to play darts, one gets warm lol. There is ample parking on the street and a parking lot across the way.

I hope this continues for them. I look forward as time goes on more items are offered on the menu. Till then, we enjoyed...

First visit yesterday !! Coming from a restaurant management background I tend to be very critical with reviews ! Actually I rarely do unless its over the top bad or vice versa !! It was a very light crowd ...mid afternoon ..inbtween lunch and dinner ...typically when most bad service happens .. We sat at the Bar and were promptly greeted by Bartender..(Eddie) .He introduced himself and asked if we had been a previous guest,,,When learning it was our first time he proceeded to give us a basic run down on what makes them unique within their space.. a little information on the beers and the food offered ! Turns out he gave us a special menus for Happy Hour with deep discounts on beer and select food items.. We were not sure on beer choice so he happily offered taste samples . I can tell you the menu descriptions of the beers are 100% accurate!!(Fruity.Citrus.Carmel) Any was a rather hoppy type beer that it turns out they were out of .. Damm ..understandable but disappointed.. He did offer another option that was not on that menu but said it was the same price.. Both my wife and I took that and were very pleased !! We actually were going to have an early dinner but the menu is really more bar food type so we decided on a couple appetizers ( Meatballs and Korean Chicken BBQ tacos) The meatballs were large (3) served with some type of flatbread..sauce and cheese !! The Tacos were on the smaller side but overstuffed with delicious chicken and were very filling !!! We noticed some other items being delivered and they all looked appetizing and fresh !! WE sampled a few other beers but decided to stay with what we had ... We had a nice conversation with Sully ( didn't catch his title but very pleasant and knowledgeable) An early dinner crowd was beginning to stroll as we were getting ready to leave !! Bottom line was $24 4 beers and 2 apps ( of course happy hour pricing) but with the quality full price would not be an issue at all !! I hear they have live entertainment other events going on at night !! I would give this experience more stars if it was allowed but its a must check out place !! Happy someone is doing it right !!
