12/31/24- after giving them months for management to return my call, no one has reached out. I don't see how this place will survive. 7/2/24 Update: I appreciate the response from management as well as updating the hours on the door. I understand about the hours posted on Google. I would like to, however, clarify the blatant LIES posted in management's review for everyone else reading this, because I feel that is of great importance. We were not awaiting additional guests. We never said such. We were also informed, at 8:40, that the kitchen was CLOSED. They never said they could take our order before 9. Here's what probably happened: they saw two babies with us and didn't want to deal with our party. I am horrified by the blatant lack of candor at the restaurant. I have tried contacting management today since their review, and of course, no answer on their phone line. Please stay away from this place at all costs. This is a sham of a restaurant and I am appalled by their lack of candor. Maybe management was lied to be the staff, and if so, they should absolutely look into this, but I have a whole party of customers can corroborate that this statement by management is indeed false.
My family was all in from out of town and wanted to go here. The hours online said it was open. The hours on the door said it was open. I was with a group and we came in at 8:30 to a fully staffed restaurant who refused to serve us. They said they decided to close because no one was there. A group was coming in. You be the judge, but I will not be coming back here to this unreliable...
Read moreThis place was horrible. Food took 1.5hrs. 4/5 orders were cold when they finally arrived. 1 order was wrong. Larger tables that came in after us got their food before us. I finished my water before the server finished taking our drink order and we didn't get water refills for 35 minutes. 3/4 drinks arrived first and the other took another 20 minutes. No one at the table liked the heavily tomoato based BBQ (needed more molasses if it's made in house) & Pioneer sauce, just didnt work at all with the ribs, pulled pork, or wings. I ordered wings and they were very dry near the bone, plus they were one of the cold orders.
Drinks were also subpar and over priced. Peach bourbon drink was weak and very wattery (probably because it had sat on the bar for 20 mins). Other drink had jalapeño in it, which was not listed on the menu, but the seeds were not filtered out so you either chewed your drink, got your straw blocked, or got them stuck in your throat.
Servers and manager weren't effective. Our server routinely left the table before we finished (never asked if we needed anything else, just left before someone could speak up). Server was so inattentive that we had to go to the bar for water and round 2. Manager came by after and just said sorry we'll take off the cold food after we had already paid.
Here for someone's birthday so this restaurant kinda ruined it and someone's careful planning. Ended up leaving with 3/5 of our group having not eaten.
Awful experience, and if they continue this way they'll be out of business shortly...
Read moreI’ll start with the beginning of this experience. The host/hostess wasn’t friendly at all. Their attitude wasn’t friendly whatsoever. Speak to them they ignore you “come on this way I’ll seat you” so that wasn’t a great way to start the night. Very few people there which should’ve been my party’s first clue about how this experience was going to go. Keep in mind this was a Sunday where both football and baseball had games going on, not far from either stadium this place should’ve been packed. We sat for a good 20+ minutes before the waitress came over. You have to ask about some drinks because they aren’t on the menu and this was just basic soda. People who came in after us, had their orders taken before us and got their food before us.
The restaurant smelled great so the food has to be also right? Nope. We ordered burgers and they were the worst. The meat wasn’t seasoned whatsoever. The bun tasted stale from a grocery store. It’s not hard to get a bun and have it taste good. I’ve had bacon jam before and that wasn’t it. Pickles were gross. No salt or pepper on the table,
Then there’s the pioneer wings. $15 for 7. Rip off. Apparently “pioneer sauce” is their version of Buffalo sauce. It had an odd taste. We like smoked meats so that was the only thing that was good about it. Then they charge you extra for dipping sauces. $1 for each tiny little cup. So in the end you’re paying $17 for 7 wings.
Wish we’d seen the 3 star rating it gets from yelp. Wish we had seen reviews before trying this place....
