Sy's, Clymer, Pa. — Restaurant in Clymer

Our first time at this restaurant, was nice decorated with antiques, seem to be clean. Son have 😔👎 parmesan chicken had no taste didn't eat it and they wouldn't offer him anything else just gave him 10 % off😕 didn't take it home either (Most restaurants would offer you something else)! Husband had the lasagna he said it was okay but it didn't have a whole lot of flavor to it either but it wasn't terrible. I had the shrimp and fries it was ok out of the three meals I guess it was the best. Most of the food was something that you would get at a bar. Don't think we would go back there but if you like that type of food then it would be your kind...

This'll is a good, solid choice for locals or travelers on Rt. 286 or in Clymer. It's not fancy, very much reminiscent of a sports bar crossed with a Cracker Barrel. The wait staff is usually pretty much on it and the jovial owner is one of those guys who visits the diners @ the tables. Surprisingly a lot on the menu and most of it is respectable. Don't know about beer, haven't been there on drinking occasions. It's not fancy, and if you want a more polished restaurant, then you probably came out for Luigi's. But Sy's is good value for the money, a lot more casual and offers nice...

The food was good, and our service was great. The PB&J wings were shocking to see on the menu so we gave them a try for the “why not” factor. Surprisingly they were pretty good.

BUT Whenever we were walking out some bald guy that works there was being an extremely rude to our servers. We heard him as we were signing our checks. It killed the experience quite a bit. Seemed like he was having a bad day taking it out on someone. Needless to say I understand why there is a now hiring sign...
