I really deeply enjoyed and was very impressed by the food. The energy in the restaurant was buzzing and lively but not too busy at the same time. There was no wait. The only negative experience I had was when I came in. The host kind of ignored me and left so I sat down because I figured he was busy and that maybe it was busier than what I could see from where I was in the front but when another couple came in he ran over to greet and seat them quickly. When someone else came to help me and was going to confirm my seat the original host came back and tried to say that I would be more comfortable downstairs. Even though I was dining by myself and it was definitely seating available in booths, tables and PLENTY at the bar, the host tried to take me downstairs where it was literally NO ONE! I felt just a little racially targeted/isolated at first, I can't lie but after I told him that I didn't want to sit there and asked to sit in the booth that we passed that was available, everything else was good. The waiter Melanie, was really sweet and so was the other waiter brought me the drink. I sat right by the kitchen where you could see all of the action. Everything was very clean. For example, I saw one of the expeditors drop a receipt, pick it up, change gloves, wash their hands, then promptly put on new ones before going back to what they were doing. Doesn't sound important but it's about the integrity people have when they don't think that anyone is looking that makes the difference. This was absolutely worth every penny. Wish I had a much better welcome initially but I don't think that experience was representative of all of the good things here. That guy looked pretty young so maybe he was new I don't know. They also give a portion of their sales to charity so that's wonderful perk!

I have a business relationship with Oskar Blues. My first visit to their turf I stopped in to try their brewpub. I wondered why, on a warm evening when all their neighboring restaurants were busy, OB was dead: a giant space with no customers. With Covid making labor hard to find, I usually give places a break on service. But OB seemed fully staffed. I was one of 2 customers seated at the bar yet the bartender never said hello or acknowledged she had customers. When I finally managed to get a beer, it was flat and warm. OB's menu is a QR scan that leads to a website that isn't mobile friendly - the resulting teeny menu breaks when trying to zoom. The menu also has some interesting tracking codes embedded and I'm curious what data OB or its host is collecting without a privacy disclosure. Not being able to read the menu didnt matter as the bartender never returned. After 20 minutes of being one of 2 customers while the staff wandered around aimlessly, I asked for my check and left. The bartender took no notice Id barely touched the beer. Oskar Blues management is asleep at the keg - within two blocks are two more brewpubs that were packed and thriving. OB makes decent craft beer. Craft breweries opening eateries is vogue but sometimes you should stick to what you know. Skip OB's dining options and just buy their beer at your local store.

Great idea, poor customer service overall. My wife and I like to eat at the bar at most every restaurant we visit, I've been pretty excited to visit this location for the past few weeks however my first impression put a sour taste in my mouth. The bartenders seem to look upset and not very approachable spending more time doing dishes and making drinks for the waiting staff rather than tending to the patrons at the bar. After sitting for almost 10 minutes trying to get someone's attention my order was finally taken. I ordered the ChubBurger I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked or which side I wanted with it. On the menu it's listed with a side of fries or slaw and comes with a Core Beer for only $12. Once the word chubBurger came out of my mouth he quickly glanced at my wife and took her order which left me thinking I wonder how they're going to cook my burger and which side they're going to give me. After orders were placed our ticket was put in a glass in front of us so I took a peek at it and found my chub Burger rang up at $9 and my beer rang up at $6 for a total of $15. I flag down the manager he ensures me that they're having some issues with the computer system he grabs the bartender and reprints a new ticket with the chuburger rung up at $12 and my beer at $6 with a $6 refund. This is all confusing to me because it should have been chuburger $12 beer free just as it's listed on the menu. When our food arrives the server comes to my side places my burger in front of me then reaches across me forcing me to lean back out of the way while he places my wife's food in front of her. At this point I'm completely disgusted with the service. The building is really nice they did a really good job with the decor and the food was excellent absolutely zero complaints there. One other minor thing I'd like to mention is in the men's restroom upstairs, the handicap toilet door is hinged on the wrong side making it difficult for multiple people to be in the restroom at the same time. Overall Aesthetics and good food will not bring me back, there are too many restaurants in the Springs area with great food and great service, unfortunately Oskar Blues fails at providing the most basic public service business skills. Great customer service is so easy to provide. Smile, be aware of yourself and your surroundings and create a "positive" unforgettable experience for your customers. Most people I've spoken to around town who have visited feel the same way. Downtown needed a new place like Oskar Blues, hopefully they'll get some staff in there with customer service skills or get someone in there to teach the staff how to provide great...

On December 6, I submitted an online reservation request for a party of 15 at your restaurant for December 14 and never received a confirmation. On December 11, I called and spoke with Jenn, who confirmed the date, time, and party size. However, when we arrived on December 14 at 6:00 PM, the hostess rudely informed me there was no reservation under my name. She then offered someone else's reservation in the basement, which was completely unacceptable. I explained that this was not our reservation and that no discussion had taken place with Jenn regarding location. When I pulled out my phone to show proof of my call, the hostess snapped at me to "calm down," despite me maintaining a respectful demeanor.

After fumbling around for five minutes, they eventually found us a table. The service that followed was shockingly unprofessional and unacceptable. We waited 20 minutes before being able to order drinks, then another 20 minutes for those drinks to arrive. Anticipating further delays, we immediately ordered a second round of drinks, but our waitress disappeared again. Another 20 minutes passed before I had to physically track her down to take our food order. When she finally came to the table, she quickly left after delivering our drinks. I had to go find her again to ensure our food order was taken.

After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, half of our party left due to the delay. When the food finally arrived, more than half of the orders were incorrect. However, given how long everything had taken, we only sent one dish back.

The drinks were good, but the food was riddled with errors, and the service was among the worst I have ever experienced. From start to finish, this was a disgraceful dining experience. It was disorganized, disrespectful, and not at all what I expected from a restaurant of your caliber. I am incredibly disappointed and feel strongly that others should be made aware of this...
