Inflexible manager that prefers to throw away food than finding solutions- against chipotle values. Waited in line, ordered, and it was time to pay the cashier scan my chipotle app several times, then it seems a error came up that was not allowing them to use my gift card credit of $17. The total was about $40. I asked them to charge me for the difference and they said sorry but we cannot because there is an error. I ask what balance do you see? $17 then give a credit and charge me the balance. No, we cannot do that … you need to call customer service. I asked for the manager… I am the manager and cannot do anything. I asked as the manager you can give me the credit and take the chipotle gift card number and there you go problem solved. After a couple of minutes of the same . They preferred to throw away my order instead of coming up with a solution. It just does not make sense that a company will throw away the whole order instead of finding a resolution. The order is made, I have the credit on the gift card, but the manager continued with I cannot do anything, and prefer to throw away the food. In addition, they marked my reward for guacamole and chips as used even after the order was canceled. Disappointed with Chipotle costumer service from this location. Read moreThis was setting up to be a 5-star review until the manager (I think) stepped in. My daughter and I stopped in for some quick Chipotle before heading home. One of the guys was helping my teenage daughter, who has Down syndrome, and he was very patiently taking his time so that she could decide what she wanted and tell him. We have been working hard on encouraging her to be more independent in this way. There was nobody behind us waiting. All of a sudden, the manager came over and snatched the bowl and spoon out of his the guy's hand and told him he wasn't working fast enough. He started flinging food around, cross-contaminating every other ingredient container on the bar, talking really fast, and, after ringing me up, puffed up his chest with pride at the way he disrespected his employee. We unfortunately have had food delivered for lunch for 6 employees from this chipotle more than a few times to my work. If we order around 11am for delivery the food always tastes like it was leftovers from the night before. Everything is dry/
Then if we order after 12:45pm the food comes fresh like it was made in the same day but the portions are half the size from the normal chipotle. We literally weighed out a "bowl" and there was only 8 ounce of food with 4 pieces of chicken.
I wish we were able to get our food delivered from the Chipotle on 8100 W Crestline Ave which is 1 block farther away from our office. So the door dash delivers from this crappy chipotle instead.
This problem has been an ongoing thing for months, this wasn't the first or second time we've had this problem with this particular restaurant. We have complained to corporate but they seem to not care...
