Ate at Kairos regularly and had an issue with a foreign item in my food, a long hair. I called the store and spoke with Nicole Smith the general manager. At the discovery of the hair in my platter, she wasn’t even apologetic. She said I could come back and get replacement food anytime and to just call it in and it would be ready upon arrival. I, after finding a hair in my food, couldn’t stomach having another platter or anything for myself. I opted to get the falafel, for someone else. I called in the order, advised the employee what I wanted and the situation, Nicole assured there would be a sticky note with the details to ensure it would be seamless. They said, fine, it will be ready when I arrived. I got to the store and my order wasn’t prepared. I had drive 30 minutes to get it. They advised me Nicole said no to my order and that I could, instead get the credit for the platter back. Made absolutely no sense. I spoke with a very helpful young lady that said Nicole had left the store and that she wasn’t there to speak with. I asked them to return the money to my gift card and ring up the falafel. They, initially, were like we can’t do that. After being insistent that the GM, is not client-centric, in my interactions at all. They finally allowed me to leave with the an order of falafel. I had more money on my gift card and gave it away to the next customer in line to use. They quick thinking young lady made the bad, embarrassing situation much better. I will not be patronizing this location. I had suggested this place to so many people, but Nicole convinced me not to do business with them. As a GM, you represent Kairos. Be apologetic and resolution oriented. When I think about the entire ordeal, it bothers me the way Nicole represented Kairos and the...
Read moreAfter two of three visits botched, I've changed from five stars to one. Our first visit was wonderful, awesome, fresh food. Like our first order, for our second online order a couple of weeks later, I chose their "order online" option and our menu items and ingredients were saved in my account. I reordered the exact same Kairos platters and one bowl. Our portions were half of what they had been the first time. It was awful!
However...we gave them one last try tonight--three times the charm? NOPE. One platter was MISSING the two proteins--no chicken or falafel. RAW red onions were thrown on the top but we never ordered that ingredient! I called and their manager, Nicole, apologized and agreed to remake and I would pick up. Again. Once home, we found the chicken and falafel, but the brown rice was cold and bland, and when we got near the bottom of both bowls, we found dirt, or something crunchy (like chewing sand) that may be the result of unwashed greens, or other veggies? Not sure, but I...
Read moreWe go here often for quick healthy vegetarian meals, it’s definitely a fave that we take friends and family to and specifically love that the drinks aren’t corn syrup based so we can enjoy soda as well! You could make vegan meals here too but until there’s a vegan tzatziki option we won’t be able to (hint hint for our friends to get some dairy free yogurt👀). Service is always amazing and for that I add that I’m very disappointed to see the POS system is still set to the limited tip setting where the maximum tip option is only TWO dollars no matter the order size, it does not make sense and tells workers that they do not deserve a fair percentage despite that being the norm. Please change this so I can show these folks how much they help us out! (Yes I know you can customize the tip amount but how many people are realistically doing that when the option is not readily available? Just change the system setting it’s...
