Good, friendly ordering experience with the gentleman inside on register that day (forgot to get his name). The fingers were huge and really good n crunchy. I had a Sammie’s Combo (sandwich) and it was super tasty, with coleslaw and sauce on it, on a big ol’ toasty bun —YUMMY!! My son had the Nashville hot ones and they were really good too.. they were hot but not too hot, because I’m really a hot sauce wimp when it comes to that lol —no pics tho, because I was ready to eat and forgot to take them lol. My hubby got the reg 6 pc combo and it was really good too.
It felt expensive but you get a good amount of food for the money, but only because the fingers were so dang big and yummy. We had leftovers that we reheated in the air fryer that night, which were good all over again as a midnight snack lol. The waffle fries were the bomb, too. The toast was a little dry and could’ve used more butter —next time tho lol!
My only thing was about the pricing on the website not being the price in store on the board that we had to pay. So be aware that it was more expensive when we got there unexpectedly —and the price on the site was what drew us in lol, but glad we went ahead and tried it.. but it was “a thing” we had to get past first thing once we saw the real prices.
Overall, it was really great experience and pretty tasty!! Thank you for the great dinner! We’ll visit you guys again real soon.
Ps- the guy working the register that day was super nice and helpful and had just went thru some jerk taking pictures of the whole store and even outside the restaurant for a negative review (maybe) because he was really rude to this gentleman as we were arriving that day. Even that did not interfere with him being friendly to us right after that jerk was done. He deserves to be recognized for his demeanor that day, honestly. Because that jerk was rude to and even about him, trying to discourage us even that day, saying rude stuff about him being too slow to understand him —which WAS TOTALLY HIM and NOT the gentleman at the register. So I just wanted to make sure you guys got a 2nd opinion about it that day if he did make a bad review like he acted like he was going to. The gentleman at the register was STILL respecting him even tho it was the opposite for him. Give that man some accolades.. cause I don’t think I would’ve been so nice to the jerk!! He was even trying to get the girl cooking in the back to “smile for the camera, sweetheart” 🙄 just so you know, which was on Jan. 30th, 2024 around 3-4 pm, I believe. Thanks again to him for keeping his cool and giving us great...
Read moreFirst off, before I get into this, I do want to point out that I would go back again, and will he return back soon and will take family, etc, as well. Will be a returning customer, but not often.
Another Rasing Cane's wannabe? Visited here recently one evening for dinner. It is well lit and does have an outside patio, although it could be too chilly for some at the moment.
Seems they offer a 3pc, 4pc, 5pc and 6pc with fries and toast similar to going to canes with the exception that the fries are waffle fries and I believe it was Cajun style (could be wrong), and the toasts is garlic toast which I do like. The chicken strip I would say is bigger compared to Canes or other known chicken places, but the breading for me personally was kind of bland. However, they do offer chicken. In three ways: original (tasted bland), Nashville hot (flavorful but not spicy hot and this is coming from a guy that considers black pepper as spicy haha) and a half and half where it is served as half original and half Nashville hot. Forgot to mention it does also come with their signature "Lenny's Sauce," which in a way also reminded me of Canes as well, but it doesn't taste at all similar. I'm fact, i believe the Lenny's Sauce is more of a honey mustard blend? I don't eat honey mustard, but this tasted like a sweet mustard, so I guessed honey mustard.
One thing that is different about this place is that they do have other sauces as well. They're around 60 some cens, though including BBQ sauce, which really makes the Nashville hot chicken stronger in flavor.
I also saw they have a cobbler, think it was blueberry, and saw it before I left, as well as...
Read moreI really wanted to like this restaurant but was extremely disappointed. The chicken was dry and had no seasoning at all. I am a human food vacuum but I could barely eat 2 of the 5 chicken fingers. I kept having to spit out the overcooked pieces.
The fries I guess we're okay but just couldn't get past the chicken. The Cole slaw tasted like water. The lemonade I guess tasted better than water.
I would not eat from this establishment again even if someone offered to pay. I'm sorry but this is my honest review. I know people have different tastes, and maybe people like bland overcooked chicken but I am not one of those people
Just so sad because I have been waiting for over 3 years to try this place. I sent my co worker to get the food and I apologized for wasting her time. But my co worker said the gentleman making the order had excellent customer...
