Tea Zone Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Columbus

OK, This is why they get this rating. My daughter said they are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. She gets clout for some of her opinions. She likes their bakery items. I tried something, similar to a melon roll, but better, with a nicer flavor... loved it. I give them a five because I have been looking for the teriyaki chicken that I had on the West cost over 28 years ago. My daughter picked up a teriyaki chicken lunch box. I sampled it. Guess what? I have finally found it. The teriyaki flavor is very, very, very, close to what I remember. I could smoke the cigar. Everything else in that box was also good. I kept dipping the celery in the spicy sauce. It was good and paired well with the celery. The fried egg was good. I usually do not care for kimchi. It was good and reminiscent of the time our Korean next door neighbor fixed some for us when we were kids. She said it was the kid version. The only thing is; the lunch box could be...

I've been here about 4 times in the last 2 years and I wish so badly that it was closer to where i live! they have THE BEST boba tea and pastries! The owners are super friendly each time i've been in there. We spent maybe 25 dollars total recently for a whole bunch of their baked goods and I could have easily spent 50. do yourself a favor and buy one of their bread loaves - we made french toast out of it and I will never be able to look at normal french toast the same again.

I was extremely excited to try this place out, as I am an avid bubble tea fan. When I walked in the door, however, the man at the front desk was on the phone and not wearing a mask. While I don’t want to be unfair here, I think that it’s extremely important that anyone tasked with handling food products (such as the baked goods and drinks served here) do at least the recommended minimum to keep people safe from a primarily airborne virus during a global pandemic.

That said, the menu presented some interesting tea flavor possibilities, and I will come back the next time I am in the area. If all goes well, hopefully I will be able to...
