White Castle — Restaurant in Columbus

I don't know why I torture myself and visit this location. Oh yeah, it's the closest to me, but after my last visit, I'm done. We had two separate orders and we didn't have to wait very long, but when I handed the second order to the back seat, she quickly realized that her small order of onion chips was missing. So we entered the line again and when when got to the window and I advised the young man working the window that the small onion chips where missing, his demeanor changed. He said I'm the one that put them in your bag, but if you just want more just say so. I was offended. There was a large order of them in order one, but none in order two. He basically accused me of lying and when I asked for the manager he said he was. I was so furious I told me friend she needed to speak to him. He then told her that he saw them being placed into the bag by his staff. So which was it. I even offered to hand him the bags so he could see for himself, he refused. He was probably so stoned he didn't know if he did or his staff did as the whole place smelled of weed when he opened the window. So Sunday my son was home from Colorado and says "I want some White Castle!". So we went to White Castle #030033 on Holt Rd. Customer #363 Sale 111570839. We saw a sign as pictured below of 10 cheese White Castles for $7.99. We pull up to the speaker and the team member # 319 and he says White Castle and nothing else. We told him we wanted 20 cheeseburgers and then he said pull around. We drove up to the window and he says nothing just reaches for my card and doesn't tell the price of the purchase. He gives us the receipt and shuts the window. No thank you or time to react to the price. We looked at the receipt and said $23.60. After a long wait he comes to the window and hands us our order. I asked him why we didn't get the $7.99 deal that was on the sign. He said you should of told us that you wanted the deal and I said that's not right. He looked to his right and talked to someone then tells us again you should have told us you wanted the deal. I told him my displeasure and he just said the same thing again. Severely under staffed, waited 20min in store for an order I put in online 15 minutes before I got to the store, and I hear the lady in the back say, it never came up, meaning it wasn't even started yet, 7 cars in the drive thru and 5 people in the lobby. To say they are short staffed is an understatement. But with all that said, they never told me it would be a while before it got done. I was charged my money and at that point I had no choice but to sit and wait, if I'd have know it would take a total of 35 minutes from the time of placing the order to get my food I would have never gone there. Not to mention the prices online are more expensive then the prices in store, for example, $3.19 for a 6 piece chicken ring online or $2.99 for a 10 piece in store.
