Jamestown Tavern -Lakeside Marblehead, OH — Restaurant in Danbury Township

I found this place a few years ago and it’s always been one of my favorites They used to have the best wings any place but not so much anymore The wings are sold by six or 12 and that’s fine but their bone in wings are probably the smallest I’ve ever seen now. I don’t know if they changed suppliers or what happened but it’s just ridiculous. And I don’t like it because they were absolutely the best wings I’ve ever had but now they’re not good. And the service is very hit and miss if you go there, sit at the bar don’t sit in the table. Typically they have one bartender and one cook the bartender wakes the tables. And the bartender doesn’t like to wait tables nor does she expect to take your orders.. She expects you to go to the bar to place orders. Like I said. I don’t know what happened to this place. It was on my number one place to go to now it’s not even...

I'm leaving 2 stars for multiple reasons. Upon entering this establishment we were completely ignored by all wait staff. We proceeded to the only free table available which was full of pull tabs and empty bottles/glasses. We sat and then learned there's no table service. I guess that works if you're a local who can high five the people crowding the bar because their your buddy but for us tourists that doesn't work. We ended up leaving and going to this friendly place called wee willy's up the road .5 miles and were greeted immediately. Word to the wise.... customer service matters. This place fell short big time. Leaving 2 stars as in all that's fair we didn't even get to try the food. (Limited only to pizza...

Decided to stop here because of other reviews, and it was well worth it!

The service was outstanding, even when the place got super packed they were still on it . They had live music last night that was great, though I thought it ended to early @11 pm.

My husband is a huge wing fan and he tried 8 of the Teriyaki bone in wings and loved them! That are baked so that flavor goes all the way through. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub (not a huge sub fan,) but this sub was awesome! It was toasted, hot, and had cheese bubbling. I loved it.

I do wish they had more seating and a few more items on their menu, but I'm not gonna complain...
