I honestly don't know how they have such good reviews?

I just moved down the street from them and decided to try them out on my Birthday. My girlfriend and I arrive and it's pretty empty. The view is nice(but that's about it) We decided to order the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and three entree's for the two of us, being that I saw a picture of their lobster mac and cheese online and was craving it. I ordered the mahi-mahi filet and the lobster mac and cheese for the both of us. My girl ordered the scallops. The food arrives less than 10mins after ordering!?!? Both of our rice pilaf were hard and undercooked, some of the scallops weren't cooked thoroughly and my girlfriend's vegetables were completely soaked in oil. The lobster mac and cheese was a weird orange color..nothing like the picture online. When we tasted it, all it was was KRAFTS mac and cheese with 3 pieces of lobster.. literally!!

It was my birthday and I didn't want to let the horrible food ruin my day, so I decided to not say anything about the quality of the food... that was until I found "A HAIR" in my food under my mahi filet. So disgusting...after almost finishing my entire meal..

So I call the waiter over and explained to him what was going on. He said no problem and walked over to the manager to ask him to remove the items of our tab.

While we were leaving, we passed right by the manager and he didn't apologize or even look at us. They must have crackheads back there preparing the food.

I'll never go to...

Mediocre. Could be much more because of the location next to a busy street and bunch of hotels. Tired and dated.

Edit: Since there is no way to reply to a reply, and I am not really looking to start a debate. Dear anonymous owner, not to go full Gordon Ramsay but you deserve the details. I was in a hurry when I was writing the first review (the ship was leaving the next day). My apology, here are the details. Our party of 6 waited for about an hour for an order of a few soups and salads, a couple of drinks and 2 Mahi dish. The place was 2/3 empty when we've ordered. When the order was finally brought up the fish was covered with square piece of cheese from the supermarket. Nice touch. When the check came the gratuity was added automatically, since there were 6 of us. I guess no need to apply effort if tips are already a done deal, right? On top of that, the football fans at the bar were cheering at the top of their lungs every 5 minutes. I hope this is specific enough. Now, looking back, I think this is actually a 1...

Had a cup of Clam Chowder which was delicious. It had pieces of potatoes with skin on and herbs and seasoning that made it far better than your ordinary clam chowder. I had the Sautéed Sea Scallops and they were large, juicy and flavorful. My wife had the Mahi Tacos which were delicious. We shared a large piece of Key Lime pie which was very, very good. The server was very friendly and helpful.

Came back, nearly a year later for lunch with our son. We had the Calamari appetizer, it was overcooked, very nearly burnt. I had a house salad and it was fresh, plentiful and good. For lunch, I had the Sauted Sea Scallops with rice. The Sea Scallops were perfectly cooked and fresh and the rice was light and delicious. My wife had Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos. Which were alright, but light on fish and her rice was room temperature. She felt the single strip of fish on each Taco was not enough, but tasted fine.
