What’s the big difference between this shop and any other ice cream shop? I came to get some ice cream for a friend and was totally disappointed. When the first opened, they would mix the ice cream on the cold slab and ask you if you wanted anything mixed in or any toppings added. I ordered Mint Chip and watched the lady scoop the mint ice cream out of a container and place it in a to go cup, then she sprinkled a small amount of chocolate chips on top, placed a plastic lid on top and placed it in a plastic bag a charged me $8.50. Very disappointing experience for which I will never return. I cannot believe anyone wastes their time going in there. Just go to Safeway or Lucky’s and buy a container of ice cream. I am a regular customer at this establishment and have typically enjoyed great experiences. However, during my recent visit, the quality fell short.

The staff member preparing my ice cream seemed distracted. Despite ordering a tub Which usually comes with a generous amount of toppings I received a scant portion of toppings, unmixed flavors, and a smaller portion of ice cream than usual. Despite my guidance, the service did not meet expectations for the nearly $20 cost.

On a positive note, one of the staff members did notice an error and promptly rectified it. The boys who worked there greeted us with seemingly genuine enthusiasm, and worked quickly and efficiently to get through all of the customers before taking my order. However, the young man who was helping me made fun of my order, and the boy who helped my friend was reluctant to give her her ice cream as, according to him, she had had too much sugar.
