Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Stopped for a pie on the way to the beach and fireworks. Arrived around 7 pm and knew it would be slower than normal because of the holiday crowd. Ordered drinks, which were served quickly and correctly. Ordered pan pie with a little substitution, but nothing hard to do. Waited normal amount of time, then 10 more minutes, then 20 minutes. Drinks were refilled and a pie showed up. Not our pie, but a pie. No plates, no napkins no silverware. The pie gets pretty cool before I get anyone's attention. We get plates napkins and such and I tell waitress that the delivered pie either isn't correct or it belongs to someone other than us. Ours was pan, not round thin. The waitress said it was ours because she took the order and away she went. We picked at it and asked for a box. When I paid the bill, I related I didn't get the right pie and the cashier said she was sorry and sort of stood there like she was waiting for me to pay her. I did and left, but ........ Really that's all? Okay if Pizza Hut does things like that, we will just remember and relate the story to anyone that asks where...

My hubby and I placed an order online. The young lady that took our order over the phone was superb. However, when I went in the store to pick up my order, it went completely downhill. Not one person acknowledged my presence, I waited approximately four minutes until a young lady asked my name. She asked a young man if my order was available. He stood frozen, texting away as if he didn't hear a word. She asked again, a little louder, which startled him. He shoved the pizza on the counter, and away he went texting. The young lady walked away, laughing and talking with her peers. The service at this location is, by far, the worst I have ever experienced. Retraining the employees on service would help....

We ate here a few times this passed spring while we were vacationing up the street. We ususlly ordered online ahead of time and picked it up (ate on the beach most nights!). We tried wings, fries, and various kinds of pizza. Our orders were always finished accurately and on time.

We also dined in for buffet lunch one day. Food was good then, too. We did have to wait for more pizza to be served at one point, but the staff asked each table for any special requests for the new pizzas - a nice touch and made it worth the wait.

The staff was great everytime we visited. They always seemed friendly and happy which we were impressed with! We have worked in the food industry before and know it can...
