The staff and patron service were good. The food is "OK" to tell you the truth despite the fact that my beef Ghalabeh dish came in more sour than usual with two extra lemon slices on the side. I don't know who would eat very sour Ghalabeh out there but I had to (definitely without the extra lemon slices). However, the most disappointing factor for me was not offering a fresh pita bread (right out of the oven). The offered bread was heated sliced pita bread and we were charged extra for flat bread that came with one of our meals. Additionally, the restaurant is small and the seating setup doesn't offer much of a privacy during family conversation. I am also a price-conscious person in nature, and have to be honest that the meal cost at this restaurant is higher (roughly 33% higher) compared to other restaurants alike in the area. I paid $50 for the meal that I normally pay $36 for at Malek Al Kabob or Al-Ameer for the...
Read moreWow this place was on POINT with its food! I have never tasted this good of tender meat ever! When I went there with my family, we decided to get Fahsah and the AL SHIBANI for 8, which is WAY MORE than 8 people can eat. The Fahsah came out piping hot and the meat just melted in your mouth! I couldn’t get enough of it! Then the AL SHIBANI for 8 was a lot of food FOR 7 people! Plan accordingly if you don’t want extra, but the dish was awesome. Their were a mix of lamb and meats, potatoes, and rice. All the meats were hot and tender, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly, And the rice was just on point and brought the whole dish together! The service was AWESOME! The waiters and waitresses were extremely nice and helpful, and were...
Read moreThe food is amazing! I had the Fahsa with meat and it was so delicious! I will warn you that the whipped fenugreek they put on top of this stew is definitely an aquired taste, you will either want to mix it in the stew or you can ask for it without the fenugreek. The flavor is traditional and delightful to the taste buds. They make and serve it in a black clay bowl and it makes it evenly cooked with perfect texture and consistency. If this is what all Yemani food tastes like than let's all pack up and move there haha! Not to mention, the service is great, and the restaurant spotless, even the bathroom was clean (which...
