I hope you guys enjoyed our overhaul @shopsatnorthfield this past week! We’ve been dining and shopping here for years. We love taking our kiddo to @rocketfizznorthfield! In all honesty he can get there from about any part of the mall. We also love dining out here. Wow. So I've heard how good this business WAS. But this is the first time I'd been here & will be the last. It looked normal coming in & we were seated fairly quickly. But it took quite a while for our server (short Latina with glittery eye makeup & long hair) to take our drink order & even longer to actually receive them. We had to ask for the kids Sprite twice. By the way there's no kids menu. Then she tells us they're outta chicken (who runs outta chicken?!), shrimp & fish. So apparently the only protein available was beef. There went half the menu selection off the bat. My 6oz sangria was mainly ice & $13!!! The prices aren't listed either. I finished it well before the food was served so asked for a Mango cart on tap. It took so long that I had to walk up to the bar to cancel it bc at that point I was already done with my food. Somehow it magically appeared like it'd been sitting up there the whole time. The staff seemed more interested in flirting with each other & patrons than doing their jobs. The food looks great on presentation but my chicken parm sandwich was missing marinara & the chicken was gritty so I spit it out and ended up just eating bread and cheese. The women's bathroom was ATROCIOUS. I'm pretty sure they're violating several health codes. At this price point, the entire experience should've been MUCH better. And the facilities cleaner. Our server, Snooki's twin, was unattentive AF. I also had the discomfort of sitting with a dirty kitchen rag behind me the entire time. Not exactly appetizing. We definitely won't be back and I highly recommend going anywhere else but here.

I’m still in shock over the whole experience here. Hands down the most horrific dining experience ever had. Came here for a birthday dinner. Arrived at 6:15pm - happy hour was until 7. We all ordered happy hour drinks and appetizers as soon as server came over. Well before happy hour was over. Then did not receive any drinks or water for over 30 minutes. Some drinks came out, many forgotten and all terrible. Fine. Food came out maybe another 30+ minutes later. None of it was hot in the slightest. Still hadn’t even gotten to put in main order because no one came back. We remained in good spirits because we were still just having a good time with one another. Then at the end of the longest waited dinner ever - over 2 hours - got our bill and nothing was listed at the happy hour price. Server was no where to be found and then randomly the manager comes over asking what the problem is with our bill - we explain and manager asked if we were sure we ordered before 7pm... yes we are positive. Corrected bills come out after more waiting and the manager wrote the reason on the bill as “SUPPOSEDLY” “ASSHOLE” We confronted him on this and he admitted to it saying he felt it was appropriate. WHAT 😂 Honestly the whole thing should have been refunded right then and there - food sucked, service sucked, and we were genuinely confused why we were then being harassed for asking to pay the correct price… it’s hands down the craziest and most bizarre restaurant experience I’ve ever had.

Went to dinner at Bar Louie's with the family. Have to say we were disappointed about the wait. Now, we understand there were two big parties that came in before us, However, the wait was extreme for drinks, for our food, and the fact that some of us didn't even get what we ordered. The drinks were good. We tried the Bull Rush, the whole Latta Latte, Grand Lemon Drop, the Clover, Beach Bum, and the Diva. For our appetizer, we ordered the Thai crispy calamari and Truffle fries. For our entrees, Hubby ordered the beer battered fish and chips, which included 3 strips of cod, house slaw, and fries, Son-in-lew ordered the New Orleans chicken & shrimp pasta which included blackened chicken, jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, red & green peppers, spicy cajun sauce, and my daughter and I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. However, they only brought out one sandwich and then told us they ran out of both soups. So my daughter got a side salad to go with the sandwich, and I ordered the Louie choice cheeseburger and fries. Have to say the find was good. The kitchen really needs to work on their communication with the servers.

My fiance and I went here on a Friday and as per expected it was pretty packed, that didn't bother us, we had been going there fairly frequently over the past year or so. Found a seat and the waitress came, she did recommend the sour which was good and just as she described. Very weak for a sour, but still has some good flavor. Our food was really the big complaint. My fiance got a philly cheese and they brought him a hamburger with a slice of provolone on it.... and my small order of nachos? Well it might as well have been an appetizer is was so huge. We only saw our waitress a few instances, and those instances she was running past our table multiple times. At one point, I guess the bar runner brought us our beers because they had been sitting at the pick up station for too long? We had been waiting a minute. If anything I would recommend coming here when you know it's not going to be packed. I never had issues before, but this time I was befuddled by the food and the service.
