2nd time this week we've been here. Sat at the bar both times. We thought we'd give it another chance and hoped a different bartender was more attentive than the first but we were wrong. Both visits it took over 5 minutes to be acknowledged that we sat down. Took another 20 minutes to order drinks. Took another 20 minutes to be asked what we decided for appetizers. Appetizers came out, we ate. Finished our appetizers. We weren't asked if we wanted to order meals until 10 minutes AFTER finishing appetizers.
I've NEVER finished an appetizer before being asked if I wanted to put in meals.
We weren't even asked that the 2nd visit. She came over and asked if we wanted more drinks and I had to ask "when can we put in our food?" The people next to us ALSO had to ask if they could put in food. The bartender looked at them, saw them talking to each other and I guess didn't want to interrupt? And walked away. She finally worked her way back down the bar and they had to ask her to put in food.
Food is great, service attention at the bar from all bartenders both nights we came have been absolutely horrible. Have any of them worked at a bar before? You don't chit chat with your fellow bartender and staff and ignore the guests. I never saw them scan the bar for empty drinks, or anything. Bartender with glasses that's working now as I write this is not leaving her post at the first register with her back towards all guests down the line of the bar. Only turns to talk to her bar mate who is cleaning, stocking, making drinks. (Check the cameras). The burger my uncle got was medium rare. He ordered medium well. He took a couple bites, put it up at the bar, couldn't even finish. Bartender with glasses came over to clean or put something away, looked right at it and walked away. No 2 bite 2 minutes here. 10 minutes before the other girl came over and she said "everything good?" Absolutely not! They came over, tried to give excuses for why they were just not good at their job. If the service bar is on that end then you make an effort to go down the far side of the bar to do checks as much as possible. Don't say "well it's hard to get down there" when all you're doing is stuffing your face with food and beer chit chatting with your back towards us obviously NOT making service drinks.

The food was good, the vibe was nice, and the waitress was friendly. My partner and I each ordered an entre and an alcoholic beverage. We paid for the food and started chatting for a bit. After drinking alcohol, I like to have a bit of water as I get dehydrated. As I'm sipping my water (we were going to leave as soon as I was done) Matt comes up to our table and basically asks us to leave. He asked if we are finished. We say just about. He then asked where we are going afterwards. We were a bit caught off guard, but we tell him we want to check out the other shops in the area. He asked us a few other questions which gave us the vibe that he wanted us to leave immediately. He wasn't smiling. He looked upset, and was asking in a very passive aggressive manner. He tells us that we should go ahead and check those places out. I gasped and he walked away. I looked around the place and most tables were empty, there was no line at the door, in fact no one was trying to get in at that point. My partner and I both felt very uncomfortable and disturbed. It might also be important to note that when I looked around, we were the only people of color in the restaurant. (Take that as you will.) We felt very unwelcome at that point. I didn't even finish my water, we just got up and left, passing many empty tables as we went. I will not eat here again nor will I recommend this place. The food was delicious, but we left with a bad taste in our mouths.
**Update. I called the phone number on 12/6/23 and spoke with Josh and explained the situation. He apologized 100+ times but essentially said our manager Matt was rude to you because that's just how he talks, he just robotic, he didn't mean to single your table out on a slow day and speak to you rudely. Hmm..no promise of disciplinary action, or at least training on how to speak to people. He said our next visit will be better but didn't offer any solutions so there will be no next visit. Not that they care. I've had better service at Applebee's. 0/10 if I could. Don't bother, or Matt will come to your table and ask how soon...
ย ย ย Read moreFirst time in the area so wanted to try a local brewery. Arrived at 3:50 and was told it would be about 15 min wait because they were waiting on servers. Host didn't seem to care if I stayed or left but I put our name on the wait list. After 20 min we came back inside and we still didn't have a table. We were dining with our two children so we used the restroom to clean them up and get them ready for dinner. The changing table had an out of order sign, and there was no useable station for changing diapers. After, we addressed the host again, now there are three at the table, and asked about the wait since the kids were getting antsy. We walked here and didn't really want to walk back to the car and find a new place to eat. We were told they were waiting on the server to put her shirt on and come onto the floor. I asked how it was that other people were sitting and having drinks, but we could not; even people not at the bar (which obviously I would not be able to bring my children to sit at, although they did offer it) They finally sat us. Server was pleasant. Took our orders quickly and offered kids cups for the waters. After bringing the food, she came and checked twice but did not bring kids drinks that were additionally ordered. We asked for spoons for the applesauce and the drinks. Received drinks, no spoons. Eventually received spoons. I ordered the tuna appetizer with seaweed salad but it was just cucumber and red pepper (not listed on menu) no seaweed. Tuna was spicy, but good. Small plate, rather than an app. Beers were great, enjoyed a flight. Overall service and staffing was subpar. Maybe the server had a bad day and was trying (?), but the host staff was unpleasant and honestly made things worse by just saying "eh well you can wait, but we don't have servers right now".
