McDonald's — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

20 min wait @ this McD's drive thru! Someone at the 2nd drive thru lane said that they would be right with me and told me to wait but kept skipping me and took other cars back to back at the 1st lane. Kept saying hello but no one bothered to respond. I finally decided to just pull up to the pay window to see what was going on. Supposedly the girl behind the pay window was only taking 1st lane orders and someone else was taking the 2nd lane's. The girl took my order but said the receipt wouldn't print. She kept pressing something on the screen but said she still couldn't print one. I told her to forget it. Waited several minutes for the other cars in front to get their food. We finally pulled up to the 2nd window. Things behind there didn't look clean at all.. things were spilled.. clear bags of some light brown liquid were inside a sink near the beverages. We finally got our food but they didn't have my cinnamon cookie latte ready and told me to pull up to the white line. Then waited forever there! I had to roll my window down and had to get the 2nd window's lady attention by sticking my head out of the window and asking how much longer would it be. She said she actually forgot about me...like really?! Btw the cinnamon cookie latte tasted like steamed milk with a spec of cinnamon (so much for getting something to wake me up.. this was putting me to sleep! ) and then I got clumps of overly sweet cinnamon at the end...eww! I really only go to Mc.D's once in awhile since my little ones want happy meals otherwise I don't eat here. Today's experience at this location was the worst ever for "fast food"! No more happy meals or steamed milk from...

This McD's was AWESOME !! I was on my way home to Pinellas Co. from a very long weekend in Orlando ... It was LATE night ... ~3am ... I had a LONG (100+ mi) drive ahead and I was running on fumes .... I was hungry and needed food before I drove home 🏡

Just for context ... I had JUST visited the giant McD's on INTERNATIONAL Dr. down the street who TURNED ME AWAY ... They refused to take my card AND work with the App for my deal/points .... They told me to go to the Doctor Phillips store .... So I was already NOT a happy camper 😭

.... The night manager here at THIS McD's in Doctor Phillips was AWESOME .... He took the time to listen to me, understand exactly what I was asking for in my order, as it was special request, made my special request PERFECTLY at 3am, and made sure I was totally happy before I left for home so I could tackle the task ahead.

I ordered a DAILY DOUBLE 🍔, Mc Chicken 🍗, & a large Fries 🍟. Everything was FRESH MADE and exactly as I ordered it. 💯%

I made a McGangBang out of the sandwiches and ate the fries .... Gave my service dog 🐕‍🦺 OREO the extra buns .... and was able to make it home.

THANK YOU FOR AN EXCELLENT CLOSE TO MY ORLANDO WEEKEND. 😄😄💯 You've EARNED my loyalty thru EXCELLENT customer service ... YOU made it worth it for me to drive up there from the Hyatt Regency before I went home. The next time I'm in Orlando for THE FAMILY CAFE' conference .... I WILL BE...

OUTSTANDING customer service & consistently satisfying food quality! This McDonald’s was always my go-to for a while when I frequented the DP area, you can never go wrong here. The man who took my Drive-Thru order (his name was Jeremiah) was phenomenal! Give him a raise! Not only was he extremely kind, friendly, and attentive, but he actually accommodated me for a 30% off 5$-or-more-purchase Mobile Rewards Deal which was normally only available on the app- specifically because I wanted to pay with cash only, and not my card. I really appreciated that given my circumstances, and I was so pleased with his service that I wanted to give him a huge shoutout specifically. Maxine who handed me the order was also superb and extremely polite, and that’s all you can ever ask for with customer service. People like these two employees challenge the standards of what you can normally expect from fast-food service, and that goes such a long way, especially with someone like me who deals with the best & the absolute worst customer service workers in Doordash/GrubHub, which I do on the side. Thank you so much to Jeremiah & Maxine, and to the person who hired them and the rest of the staff as well! The order came out super quickly, it was fresh and hot for me when I got home, and it tasted delicious as always.
