My visit to 99 Chicken and Pizza was nothing short of fantastic, thanks in large part to the exceptional friendliness of Ms. Young. Not only did she take my order with lightning speed, but her warm and welcoming demeanor added a personal touch to the entire dining experience. The Korean chicken, recommended by Ms. Young, lived up to its reputation as the town's best, and the Korean pizza was a flavor symphony.
One cool feature that caught my eye was the convenient kiosk, allowing patrons to place orders seamlessly. It added a modern and efficient touch to the overall setup. Ms. Young's efficiency and the user-friendly kiosk made the whole process a breeze, from ordering to savoring the delectable dishes.
So, if you're in for a culinary adventure guided by friendly faces like Ms. Young's, and appreciate the convenience of a high-tech kiosk, 99 Chicken and Pizza is the spot where efficiency meets exceptional flavor. A truly delightful experience that has secured its place on my...
Read moreA cute and cozy Korean fried chicken place nestled amongst many competitors on Pleasant Hill. There is a self-service kiosk, or you can order with someone at the counter. The utensils, additional sauces, and drinks are self-serve as well. Staff was super welcoming and had recommendations.
We ordered the onion rings, and the small Korean steak pizza + sweet mild spicy whole chicken combination. The combo came with a cabbage salad and pickled radish. The portion was more than enough to feed 3-4 people. The onion rings were breaded and crunchy. The tangy, thousand-island like dipping sauce was good (same as the salad dressing). The pizza was one of the most cheeeeeeesiest pizzas we've ever had. The fried chicken had a glassy, crunchy batter. The chicken was juicy. The sweet mild spicy sauce was sweet and not spicy. It had a nice cinnamon flavor to it.
Overall, would come back to try the other pizzas and chicken flavors. Definitely with more people next time to...
Read moreBeen going to the John Creek location way before it ever rebranded/changed ownerships. Majority of my experiences have been takeouts and usually to order the sweet & spicy whole chicken and sweet & mild whole chicken. There’s always ups and downs when one goes to a place for this long. Still probably one of my favorite Korean fried chicken places simply because of the sauces. The most recent visit the chicken was well prepared, crispy, and moist (even when taken home it was still good) the accompanying pickled radish and the side shredded salad are classic and iconic that comes with these chickens. Happy that the newer Duluth location, the sweet lady that was able to serve me (no worries on language barrier for those that only speak English!) and the food were great! (They also have a self order kiosk, but I have not tried that)....
