Ordered a sub for lunch. No onions. Go get my sub, get home, get inside, thing is loaded with onions. My lunch break is almost over. Call the store. Their solution is me driving it back for a refund. No can do. I work until 7, I ask if I can bring it then "We close at 7 but you can bring it tomorrow or another day". At this point I'm stunned that this is their solution - Me saving a sub and taking more time out of my day (the next day on top of that) to correct their mistake. I just said "ok?" and ended the call. Called a few minutes later to see if a delivery driver can pick it up. Guy says they don't have any drivers. "Can one pick it up later?" Guy says no drivers later either - Mind you the website has delivery as an option at this same exact time. The mistake isn't really the issue, people make mistakes. But the fact that they had SO many opportunities to correct their mistake and failed customer service every step of the way is mind boggling. Send a driver, stay 5 minutes after close, void the charge, send a voucher, ANYTHING. So I guess I'll take more of my time and gas, take off work early, and return this nearly $15 sub. Read moreFood: I usually get the tuna (in the picture). It has always been excellent. The portions of meat are great compared to other sub stores in Eau Claire. The flavor is good. The appearance is also impressive for a sub place. I oftentimes get cheese curds with my sub, and those are quite good as well. Thus far, I have never had an order messed up. Considering all the sub places in Eau Claire, the bread is second only to Jay Ray's Deli.
Service: My experience with the employees here has always been respectful and helpful. Many times, they go above and beyond what I expect out of fast food workers. Particularly, the young man and lady with glasses are always helpful and working on their toes from what I see.
Atmosphere: The store is clean and reasonably comfortable. The music is a bit loud on the left side of the restaurant. It is also a bit chilly for my liking, but that is small beans in comparison with overall great experience I have at Cousins...
Read moreI had this delivered, didn't realize their website redirected to door dash. As far as the food, zero complaints, was actually very impressed by the quality and quantity for what I paid. The delivery service was later than expected, but not outrageous, overpriced, and my food showed up looking like it had tipped over but not shaken or dropped. As far as I'm concerned cousins subs is incredible, just wish they didn't contract through the most expensive and least professional...
