This store has issues - shop elsewhere for your coffee until they get it together. The primary issue is attitude and unwillingness to be fair and reasonable with patrons. I purchased a $20 gift set recently and needed to return it when learned it wasnât the ideal gift for whom purchased.
On the day I purchased it, this storeâs payment system wasnât functioning normally â they werenât able to take payments inside. If you go inside the store to purchase a gift mug, holiday packaged coffee, etc - you must then use the drive through window to pay for it. This was nearly a week ago and the store still has not resolved the problem.
Of course, I wasnât given a receipt for my purchase because of the problems theyâre having with their financial system. When I tried to return the gift item today, I requested a refund. Guess what? No refunds without a receipt!!! A penalty inflicted upon loyal customers because of the storeâs dysfunctional financial system & inability to process purchases normally.
The most disturbing aspect of this incident is the attitude of store personnel who assisted me with this transaction. I informed her I intended to alert the public with a negative review. She replied: âgood, I donât care!!!â Donât patronize this establishment until their financial issues are resolved and Starbucks placed personnel at the helm of this location who care & appreciate your business.
I'm an avid Starbucks customer, and the location on Industrial Blvd in Edina is the closest to my work. This morning while I was waiting for my order I noticed that customers who ordered way after me were getting their drinks. OK that's fine things happen, however I asked the lady if she had my drink order and she said âoh we mustâve lost it.â I waited another several minutes for my drink but they still never made it. I told the lady I was going to be late for work and that I really needed to go. I over heard the lady I talked to say to the lady making the drinks "just don't make it then." How in any way is this good customer service? I had already paid for the product and you're really going to say that? No offer of a refund for the drink, no apologize for the wait time, nothing. I will not be coming back to this Starbucks location. If I would have had an apology I would have been OK. What I heard was not OK. This customer service is not OK. I would like to discuss this with someone so if a manger could please send me their contact information that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
We regularly go to the Starbucks store on Industrial blvd in Edina. The people serving us have been fantastic. The store is for some reason going through a change of management and employees. The store already has been well above average. Yesterday when I arrived, the drive through was closed due to headphone issues. I went in the store to find just two employees taking care of a deluge of orders. The wait for many was too much. Hopefully new management will fix the staffing shortage. The best part of yesterday was the supervisor Amber and the person working with her. Amber was incredible the way she handled the pressure and the clients. It was just before 8 AM and the customer pressure was enormous. Amber kept smiling while working hard to take care of people and managing what could have been chaos in an impressive manner. We have been Starbucks customers for many, many years. Hopefully Amber will remain with our favorite store. I really doubt that Starbucks has a better store supervisor anywhere. Thanks Amber!!!!
