Gringo Loco is so much more than just another taco spot; it’s a place that truly goes above and beyond for its customers. First of all, the food is incredible. The tacos are absolutely to die for—made with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat, and just the right balance of flavors. The lonches were soft, flavorful, and delicious. Every bite felt like a taste of heaven, and it’s hard to believe something could be so perfectly made!
But what really made my visit unforgettable was my experience with one of the staff members, James. While I was waiting for my takeout, he noticed me sitting around and came over to see if I needed anything. I couldn’t help but notice an Xbox setup and a bag with the UNSC symbol from Halo tucked in the corner. Turns out, it was his! When I asked about it, James casually offered to play a few games while I waited. Naturally, I said yes, and it turned out to be the highlight of my night.
James and I jumped into some Halo, making the wait genuinely fun. For a moment, it felt like hanging out with an old friend rather than just waiting around. James even mentioned that they might start doing this regularly on Wednesday evenings, with games like Call of Duty Zombies, Battlefront 2, Halo multiplayer, Guitar Hero, and Smash. Imagine enjoying Gringo Loco’s amazing food while getting in some gaming—way better than just sitting around on your phone or, honestly, just drinking.
If Gringo Loco turned this into a regular event, it would add such a unique twist to the place. Huge shout-out to James for creating such a fun, engaging atmosphere and going the extra mile to make my visit memorable. This restaurant isn’t just about food; it’s about creating a whole experience, and James really gets that. I’ll definitely be back not only for the tacos but also for the chance to game and enjoy the welcoming vibe that makes Gringo...
Read moreHi. I’m going to leave a review, and I truly hope you will take this as constructive criticism, because I know you guys are new, but I want you to succeed.
The atmosphere is great. I love the lighting and the seating is abundant.
The service needs some work. I saw a server, standing with a plate, walking and eating off of it. I understand that they’re new. However, this is pretty unprofessional. It’s fine to eat in uniform, just take a seat.
I really liked that the food was fresh. I think it’s awesome that you have so many vegetarian options. It’s presented well, and very attractive. It’s just a little bland. The meat needs more seasoning, the rice could use some salt, and the beans as well. I wasn’t getting much flavor.
I left 5 stars because I don’t want this to be harsh. I don’t want to leave a blemish on your review page, what I want is for you to take this review as honest feedback.
This was my experience. Other people’s experience may be different. But these were my thoughts and I think the place has a lot of potential. I hope to...
Read morePlace looked great, loved the music, LOVED THE PICADILLY drink, food was AWESOME.... Downside was service, they greeted us kindly, took our order. When we got our drinks & food, I asked for a glass of water as well. I was FINALLY able to get her attention at the end of the meal & reminded her about my water. Again she was a kind person but as slow as it was while I was there, there was NO REASON to have to wait 30 minutes to get her attention & get my water... also somehow a tip was already entered on our card transaction. I will normally leave a GOOD TIP & I placed it on the table but after that I took it back. She was kind at greeting us & taking our order but NOT ONCE DID SHE CHECK IN ON US. I'm sorry for the partial bad review but damn, I can't leave a tip if all u did was take my order, deliver & disappear. Place, food & music was great tho. I guess the regulars get the...
