I would give 0 star if there’s that option. How this place get 4 star really puzzles me. Maybe we are spoiled by the New York City Chinese food standard, but I’m convinced there’s more. Let’s start with service. The cashier/waitress lady, (maybe the owner) is amazing. She can communicate solely by different tones of humming sound from her nose. Who need the verbal greeting or acknowledge when you ask a question or anything. Just imagine the expressionlessness on her face, I honestly get better service at DMV, or warmer greetings at highway tollbooth. If you know what I mean. It is also not just towards us, it is towards everyone there as well as the delivery pick up guys . Then let’s talk about food. We ordered beef noodle. I have to say the beef is quite decent. Which is the hard part. However the noodle is so bad. I don’t know if they are aiming for the Al dente? But growing up in China and spend 10 years in Shanghai, I am 100 percent sure no Shanghai noodle taste that way. It is raw, hard to chew and for sure will leave a stomach pain. We obvious didn’t eat much of it. Lastly the steam dumplings. I would have gave 4 start to it, except two out of six of them are obviously made by someone different. Imagine four dumplings looks perfectly round, smooth. But the other two, scrambled , different size, different texture. I would not be surprised if it was made by a 5 year old kid as toy. We were tricked by the 4 star review. Will absolutely not come back again and want to warn...
Read moreWe came in at noon with the restaurant deserted. We thought it was very quiet, but it turns out that was a red flag.
As soon as we went in, we were completely ignored. We had to call out for them to answer us. As we started to check, our cups were filthy with "tea stains" as the waitress put it. However, we noticed that the tea stains smudged our napkins. The waitress would roll her eyes and remarked under her breath that it was only tea.
We ordered soup dumplings first and when they came out, we noticed that the pork was raw and pink/translucent. We notified the staff but they kept insisting that it was not. They then took away the steamer baskets before we could take pictures. The "Three Cups Chicken" did not have basil The soymilk was basically watered down and so watery it tasted nasty.
Service was equally as horrible as the food. The staff all huddled to the back of the restaurant to sit and talk, facing away from us. Like the other reviews have said, we would need to call out for them to be seated, take our order, ask for refills, and pay. As we started ordering, the staff went on her phone to take our order on the notes app (I assumed). Then her phone rang and she started to take the call in front of us. Once she was done she placed her phone back in her pocket to actually take our orders.
Overall, we all decided that this was not a restaurant. We don't know what to call this place but horrible. We left our orders half eaten because we could not...

This place was a phenomenal Chinese restaurant a few years back with extremely tasty food and friendly customer service. However, this place has gone down.
As we entered, we noticed only one gal running the front show (cashier and waitress). When we said a "party of three" her reply was "Cash Only". There was no hello or any type of welcome greeting. Very cold. We even had to sit ourselves.
It took some time before the waitress came to our table to take our order. There was a bottle of warm water on the table and when I asked for ice, the waitress response was "we do not have ice" in a snotty manner. We ordered the pork buns, won ton soup, beef noodle soup, Peking style pork shops and fried rice. The food was blah and definitely not the same as in the past. Missing flavor.
When I asked for a knife to cut the Peking style pork chops, the waitress gave me an extremely dull butter knife. When I asked for a sharper knife, she gave me a plastic one. I have to say that I have never been to a restaurant where they use plastic utensils along with nice plates. A big turn off for a dining experience.
Will I be back? Hell no. Let me say that again...HELL NO. Not only will I NOT Return, I will let all my peeps know not to waste their hard earned money at this place. Food is mediocre and service is horrendous. ...
