Clean and colorful interior, the staff were friendly, patient, and one staff member even helped move some table and chairs to make room for our wheelchair without us even asking. There is plenty of seating that consists of both booths as well as table and chairs. The menu seemed overwhelming at first but the cashier handed my wife a condensed Favorites Menu of the most popular menu items that people tend to order which helped greatly. The food here is on another level of incredibly delicious. Their biscuits are phenomenal and elevate each dish in different ways. My wife ordered the Hot Mess Bowl but up graded her regular biscuit to a Cheese Biscuit. The dish also contained tater tots, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs and some very delicious sausage gravy. Overall it really did look like a hot mess but it tasted absolutely phenomenal and is going to be what I order next time. This time though I ordered the Mix and Match Eggs Benedict aka Bennys with one Traditional and one Smoked Salmon. Both were excellent and the salmon was especially on point and loaded with smoke flavor. I would have preferred more hollandaise but it was still incredibly good. I should also add that they use eggs from free range cage free chickens which gives the eggs more nutrients and a better flavor. We also tried their hefty sized Cinnamon Roll Biscuit with Cream Cheese Frosting and I loved it, especially since it was moist and fluffy. Unfortunately it wasn't to my wife's liking who prefers more of a powdered sugar type frosting. The interior temperature is kept at a cool comfortable temp, especially when it was already in the 90s outside at 10am. The drinks are not refillable and are canned sodas but are brought to the table with a plastic cup, lid, and straw. The drip coffee is offered in either a ceramic coffee cup or a To Go cup, the To Go cups are available in two different sizes but are priced the same. The coffee was drinkable but a little on the bitter side. Believe the reviews about the dry biscuits. We've been wanting to try their food and finally went Monday a little after 8am. What I ordered was called the "Hot Mess", and a mess it was. Why? Well, first of all, if you have the word "Biscuit" in the name of your restaurant, you darn well better have a good biscuit. But no, the biscuits are not good. The oven was way too hot when these biscuits were cooked. The outside was so dry I could barely chew it. And the inside was raw dough. The sausage gravy had an offensive flavor. The tator tots were way too salty. And the cheese they put on it had a "funky" flavor like it might have been old and spoiled. I ate just enough to realize I didn't want to be sick then stopped. Like I said, we were there about 8am. Other than us there was one other table. The coffee was barely warm and obviously was not even close to being fresh. If you are a breakfast restaurant why wouldn't you make sure every cup of coffee was fresh? The guy behind the register took two cups and put it under a big trough of coffee, and yes, it tasted like it was poured from a trough. Absolutely disgusting. If you haven't figured out by now, we will not be returning to this establishment. Even though several employees walked by our table and noticed we weren't eating or drinking our food, not a single person asked how the things were. I think they know it's not good so why ask. This is my first time eating at this location, but I have eaten at the other location before and I feel the same. It's forgettable. Pros-cute place. Great outdoor place to eat and play Cornhole while waiting for your food. Or if your kids want to run amuk while you gossip with your gf during girl time....hit this place. Staff was friendly and kept things moving quickly (counter service, delivering food and bussing tables). We actually had our food delivered by a manger and employee came by and grab out dirty plates when finished. The chicken was crispy and had nice flavor. Cons-Food is just forgettable for what it is. I have had way better biscuits. It was crispy on the outside, but yo moist on the inside. There is a difference between soft and moist and if you put wet ingredients on moist(think jelly or gravy), you have a goey mess in your mouth. The strawberry jelly or jam was a runny mess. It didn't hold like a breakfast jelly or jam should. The peach was good. Grape was again, forgettable. Nothing to go crazy about.
