Well I hate to do this, but I've been coming to this place since it opened years ago when Brandon was running the place a few times a week. For the most part, I always enjoyed coming here. Service was always good, prices were reasonable, and whenever the kitchen was open I enjoyed the food. They have/had karaoke and DJ events which are fun, I've had lots of great parties here. Even during the reopening with the new management, things have been nice... up until the recent couple of months. After the kitchen closed again, things began to decline... prices became extremely unreasonable. Service has been struggling a little, but still good. Dominique is my favorite to come see. If there is no beer specials, you will pay about 5 bucks for a domestic, and charge almost a dollar for a splash of soda. It seems they are trying to attract a demographic that simply doesn't exist in this part of the Northeast, and to avoid "riff raff".. it may work when 11:11 is having a concert but, beyond that? This is Dyer street, not 6th street in Austin... I like to hop the bars on this street but lately I've been finding myself avoiding this place because of the prices that simply don't compare to places like High Times, Dog House, or Willie's, which are all great and offer a similar environment. If you are in the Northeast, don't waste your time, or your money, the management barely cares and they are almost never there. Sucks making this review but something needs to be said about how this place just hasn't been doing well as of late, hoping for the best in the future. Be...
Read moreGood on the marketing aspect as I only came to this place because a bartender approached me at the ATM and handed me a flyer.
My experience was one I wasn’t expecting. Kaylyn didn’t want to serve us anymore as we walked in “too close to last call”(1:40). She didn’t want to serve us the shots we ordered; Instead wanted to only have the drink she suggested since they didn’t have drinks we wanted. Very poor service not to mention she told us to chug it because we had to be out at 2. Paid for my drinks and didn’t even drink it because of how bad we were treated. I will not be coming back to this place and I will tell my friends and family to not come here as well.
Kaylyn the no tip reflects your attitude and customer service, I’d give this zero stars if I could.
Coming from someone in the industry I can tell you the reason this place has no people. They need to clean the house. Start a team from scratch and hire better looking bartenders. You can’t have below average looking bartenders who also give bad customer service.
Also per TABC law you can be served until 2:00 and have until 2:15...
Read moreI've been here twice since renovation Ariel was my server first day was the 4th she was sober and attentive wasn't a busy day. The 5th she must have been super drunk she litterly gave my credit card to a complete stranger I was sitting in the same spot the whole time until I walked up to her and said what are you doing? To get my card and she then got all confused like it was my fault last time I checked im not a black guy (who she gave my card to) you think she would remember my face from seeing her twice for at least a couple hrs.
By the way alot of these reviews are from the previous owner so they do not reflect on the new bar. I'd say this bar is like a 3 star it's not like how it use to be 2 years ago.
Will not be coming again respectively if the new owner is fine with there Bartenders being drunk where they make mistakes on the ticket orders or give your card to the wrong person I would recommend another establishment to get your...
