My family has always been a fan of Indian food and so we were very excited to hear about this new Indian restaurant. We decided to give it a try last night and could not have been more DISAPPOINTED!!! We sat down for well over 15 minutes with no menus and no water. After a while, I just walked to the counter to ask for some menus. 10 minutes after that the waitress came over and brought 3 EMPTY glasses. Then about another 10 minutes later she came back to pour some water into 1 GLASS, leaving the other 2 glasses empty and walked away!?!... We were so confused. It had been over 30 minutes at that point and no one came to check on us or to get our order, I had to walk up to one of the staff and ask if we could put our order in. I was so ready to leave but didn't want to be rude so we just stuck it out, hoping the food would make up for the terrible service. We got the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and garlic naan bread. The butter chicken and naan bread were good. And I find the price of $17.99 for the butter chicken and $4.99 for naan bread reasonable. However, that's not the case for the tandoori chicken. The description for the tandoori chicken on the menu reads "WHOLE chicken marinated in yogurt with fresh ground herbs and spices" but what we got was FIVE tiny pieces of chicken on a bed of raw cabbage. The plating was unappetizing, the portion was ridiculous for the price of $19.99. For almost $20, it didn't come with any rice or bread and it took another 15 minutes for that dish to come out. And honestly, it didn't even taste good. The chicken was very salty and a couple of the pieces of chicken were undercooked and we could not eat them. At one point, the chef came into the dining room to check and get some feedback from customers but never acknowledged our table. I don't know if it's because we were the only non-Caucasian customers in the room so they assumed we have no standard for customer service or we have some invisibility power we didn't know about?!? My family and I felt very ignored and underserved. After a meal that cost more than $50, we left feeling very disappointed and ripped off. Overall, the service and the food were extremely UNDERWHELMING and I don't think we will be...
Read moreThis is a brand new business, been open a few weeks. I am glad they are here in Ellensburg... The food is good. somewhat different from some other Indian restaurants we have dined at, but good. There is one sweet young lady waiting tables, and working the register, this is her first time in this role. She is pleasant, but very busy. So many trips to the dining room, so little accomplished... Four of us arrived at 6PM for dinner on a Wednesday, and were seated after a short wait so they could clean a table. We received our appetizers at 6:55, wow! Our food followed pretty closely, on the appetizers. I think this had to do with the kitchen being clogged with a flood of take out orders, that possibly were not prioritized with the in house orders. The food was brought one dish at a time, over about 8 to 9 minutes, by different people, strange. A couple people left because they were ignored for too long. The restaurant only has 2 paper menus, (bring your device). The chef is very proud, and really cares if you are happy, and if you liked the food. He was a big plus, but someone needs to train the rest staff. I think this will be a great place as time goes on. Training for the staff roles could really improve the experience tremendously for the staff, and customers. Overall it was a good experience, you could see that they want to do good, they have sincerity. A big plus was, the staff were all friendly, and happy, sadly, just...

I decided I wanted my food to go since I was by myself. I ordered the Chiclen wrap, along with a side of the Samosas chaat.
I paid, and then waited about 10 minutes. When I saw the lady putting the wrap in the bag my eyes almost bulged out of my face! It was huge. Then along came the side in a mysterious black container.
I thanked the, what I assume to be the mom of the business, and went home.
Upon arriving home (3 minutes later drive with traffic) I opened my food. It smelled so amazing.
For the chicken wrap, it was in a beautifully HUGE, fluffy wrap with delicious chicken. Upon first impression, I personally thought there was too many onion, and they were still partially raw onions which resulted in a bitter taste. Along with the chicken not being reheated to a safe temperature if it was pre cooked and reheated. It was still amazing. And I devoured every last bite.
For the samosas chaat, they were absolutely out of this world. I have no idea what sweet and savory sauce was on there but absolutely Amazing.
I’m excited to return and try the rest...
