Absolutely loved my experience at Cartecay Wine and Craft in Ellijay! If you're looking for a laid-back spot with amazing local flavor, this is it. They serve an awesome selection of local draft beers and, of course, Cartecay’s own wines straight from their vineyard — it doesn’t get more local or fresh than that.

This place is super cute and has a great local vibe. The beer selection is good and so were the prices. The ladies enjoyed a bottle of Christmas wine as well. We were here on New Years Eve and the place was not too busy at all. My only knock would be the service. We sat at the one table and it was hard to keep the beer flowing. The beer menu does not have any flavor details and our server may not have been familiar enough to fill in any gaps when we asked questions. It’s a really cute and lowkey atmosphere. My boyfriend and I were walking around, waiting for our dinner reservation, when we decided to stop in. Steph was so nice, very funny and personable. We didn’t realize until we’d taken our first couple sips that they were closed. Instead of kicking us out, she let us stay and we chatted about Ellijay and the Bigfoot Museum.
