After 9 hours in the ER , we were hungry . At the front 10 minutes or so waitresses watching walking by no one helped us . I called Applebee's # asked the bartender if someone could seat us 10pm Ordered our food . Told her we had eaten all day that my son had autism . She brought our drinks and we waited a while for the food we drank our drinks while we waited .The food was very cold my sons plate was cold the mashed potatoes felt like they've been refrigerated . My " sizzling plate "was warm only . 15 minutes went by before we saw her again she said the fries were still cooking (that we ordered with the meal but didnt get) .. said they'd be done soon she walked away very fast as I was telling her about the drinks and the very cold food that we waited to eat ugh ok waiting w cold food again .Hesitating finally I got up as my son was eating his cold salmon and I got our drinks from the bartender (very nice) she came back I said I tried to tell you that the food was cold in the potatoes were frozen will you please warm up our food ? She said no I'll bring you some hot potatoes., Not I'll warm up all your food , just the cold potatoes and she said the fries were still coming . When she brought the fries I put my finger on them and they were cold very cold and she went to run away and I said excuse me and she came back and I told her to pick up one. She said she couldn't touch my plate so I handed her one she felt that it was very cold and she said wow that's cold and that she must have grabbed the wrong fries came back with lukewarm fries š and warmer mashed potatoes . I was trying to heat my son's food on my lukewarm platter when she brought it out I had the napkin over the food trying to warm it with my hand on it because she refused to warm it up. When she came back several minutes later she asked my son how our dinner was š My son has Autism and can't speak he gave her a sad face and signed cold , I told her it was cold and I would had liked it warm or hot . I asked to pay she said I'll speak to my manager so instead of leaving we waited a nice manager listened and said she'd take his meal off . ( All the server had to do was heat our food but she wouldn't . it wasn't even busy there .. we got there at 10 and didn't leave until after 1140 yes most of that time was spent waiting . Then after waiting for 15 maybe 20 mins more I asked another worker to ask our server for the check , I had wanted almost 35 mins before . Our server came over no apologies just came I get you deserts no please we are tired my son is about to cry please can we pay please ? Then five minutes later she comes with check I go to give her my credit card in my hand she leaves again without it . I'm shaking so stressed with how horrible we're treated im a disabled mother with a teenager with autism its 1130 pm please this is so mean . After more waiting I get up and go to the bartender and ask if I could please pay her she nicely said yes but our server said give me that and acted mad that we were standing there not waiting for her at the table for punishment . Calmly nicely I asked why are you so angry are you doing this to us because you're mad ? (( I didn't say this but half the place was empty and she gives people very cold food refused to warm it up , wait hour n 40 mins while she had her fun hurting us . Maybe she didn't like special needs people or Disabled people ? Im disabled had to sit at a table not a booth so she had to walk ten steps extra, she made us miserable , got her revenge and I just took it , holding a napkin over my sons food on a warm skillet because she wouldn't )) She snapped that she had tables giving us dirty looks up & down talking out the side of her mouth at us . Thank God the manager came , I told her the server yelled at me she started again the manager stopped her , asked if we paid . the server heard her and shoved my card into the machine but the manager grabbed it fast from her and she said no charge . I just fled shaking to my car praying the server didn't yell infront of my son who was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not usually one to comment on peoples stupidity, but we ordered takeout today from this location and it was horrible. We went in to place the takeout order, the ātakeout serverā came up and took our order, I had to explain and repeat myself 3 different times. I confirmed on 2 instances we want 2 orders of garlic Parmesan wings and the server proceeded to say āso buffalo wings rightā?. I also confirmed with her we wanted the chicken nachos, and after 5 minutes of going back to the kitchen, she came back again to confirm beef or chicken. At that point, we knew our food was going to be wrong because she clearly was not listening or paying any attention. We were told 15 minutes, and we went back after 20 minutes but still waited. Once we finally got our food, we checked and we ordered breadsticks, we were charged $8 and we were given ONE breadstick. The garlic and parmesan sauce was missing off the order of wings AND they only gave us 1 order of wings. So we brought it up to the server and she went back, then proceeded to ask us for $14 more because she forgot to make it 2 orders. How does someone forget when they were told 3 different times?? We paid, asked for a supervisor and were given a pathetic free appetizer coupon. Once our ācorrectedā order came back, we checked it again because clearly no one in that building has listening skills and of course, we now have just TWO breadsticks, and weāre missing the ranch for our second order of wings. My husband went back and asked for the rest of our order, and finally a different server went to get it but we were tired of it and left without talking to another manager. I donāt understand how a whole kitchen plus a server is so incompetent that you can get an order SO wrong more than once. We understand people have bad days, but to sit there and write things down and shake your head, then read back a completely wrong order and not be able to correct it twice, I donāt understand how you can run a business with employees like this. Edited to add, while we were there, there was a family that walked in and the hostess was no where to be seen. It took over 10 minutes for the hostess to come back to the front and by then, the...
