This pizza shop is a solid choice for a quick meal. Easy to find, ample parking, ramp to get in and spacious inside for mobility needs, and the place looks newly remodeled though I think it’s just well maintained. It’s kept clean too. Not so common for a pizza shop. Also, they have a large, clean, gender neutral bathroom.
I found the staff to be knowledgeable about gluten allergies. This is important. She was clear about any possible cross contamination. But they do offer a GF crust. I don’t know about the other reviews, but I found them all friendly and helpful.
In terms of food, it was good. I wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza I’ve had. My pizza was a bit wet, but not to the point of a soggy crust. I just like my toppings a bit more cooked. The wetness made my pizza cold quick, and we ate there.
Another observation is that there is limited seating off season. Not sure if they offer more seating during the summer. It’s more of a take out place.
All in all, if you find yourself in Falmouth, I’d recommend this place if you’re not looking for anything too costly...
Read moreI wanted to like this place but not a good first impression :( the good: they were right on time, the food was hot, the newly renovated pizza place itself is clean, and the workers were friendly on the phone and in person. Everyone was wearing masks properly too which I appreciate, and the website looks great and the menu is easy to find and use online. The not so good: was the pizza itself. I got the PB&J pineapple bacon and jalapeño pizza. I was hoping for a kind of spicy Hawaiian pizza. But instead, the pineapple was sad looking, the bacon tasted...weird....and the pizza overall just wasn’t that good. Won’t get again. I also orders what is listed on the menu as “garlic cheese sticks”. Instead I got a pizza with just cheese and garlic oil on top.....with a small cup of “marinara” on the side. Even the marinara was more like watery salsa. Ick. This item specifically made me write this review. I suggest you Don’t get the “cheese sticks” ...they aren’t what you are looking for. I Don’t recommend. Hope that they improve as the new year comes! I’ll try Peel Pizza in Falmouth again at some point, As it’s always good to give local business a second shot even if the first wasn’t perfect (but not...
Read moreHeard great things and ordered a few pies for pickup. Was told an hour which was not a problem coming from North Falmouth. Hit the road about 30 minutes after calling in and ran a few errands at Stop&Shop and CVS before arriving at Peel 70 minutes after ordering. Checked in with the “manager” who then said it would be another 20 minutes. No big deal, it was the middle of the summer (tons of crazy tourists around). Time passes and the “manager” gives us the same message…another 20 minutes. Politely challenge her that she just said that 20 odd minutes ago and the woman reiterated that she was the manager and the food would be right out. Had young boys at home waiting for food and could not wait over 2 hours for a few simple pies. Asked for a refund which the “manager” apprehensively agreed to and told us to “never come back”. Amazing management and exceptional people skills. Will...
