Mold on banana bread we purchased. Sadly had to go back to store for a refund as I was not about to try anymore of the bread. I was told I could not get a refund and only get store credit. I firmly said no, I would only take a refund as I was sold moldy bread. I went back and forth with the lady working who was on the phone with her manager. I was told only the manager can do the refund and she is busy at the other store. Well, I guess now she has to come down to this store to fix this issue. At this point I lost COMPLETE trust in anything this place served, ie how do I know their other food and the food in my smoothies were moldy? I was told the food going into the smoothie was good, but how do I know that? I was sold bread that was "not moldy" either.
I brought my smoothies back, and I was about to leave when the manager finally showed up. She was unkempt in appearance, and not what I would expect a manager to look like, further eroding my trust in this place that serves food.
At one point, I got the voided receipt and asked 3 times if I was ok to leave and I was being ignored, further wasting my time.
I will never come here again, and do not recommend anyone to come here again.
To add insult to all of this there was no expiration dates on bread so are the rest moldy? Lady working was semi nice at first but was rude by the end of this interaction though. By the time I left, they did not pull the rest of the bread off the shelf to inspect or...
Read moreUpdate: This review is for the location on Banks Rd (near the Planet Fitness). I haven’t tried the one in Summit Point yet.
Best smoothies ever!!! I randomly decided to try this place after leaving the gym one day, and I was not disappointed. They are slightly pricey depending on what you order, but I promise it’s worth it! They use real fruit in their smoothies, and you can definitely taste the difference. They also offer two plant-based protein options (pea and hemp), and I surprisingly like both. I’m not a huge fan of the whey protein that most chain smoothie shops use so the plant-based proteins are great alternatives for me! My absolute FAVORITE smoothie is the Dragonberry. Trust me, you want to try it!
Also, I’m not sure that the listed weekday hours are accurate, but the weekend ones definitely are. I’ve gotten a smoothie as early as 7AM on a weekday before so I’m not sure if it was just random luck.
Some of the reviews mention horrible customer service, but I have always had a positive experience. The owner is always super nice and helpful whenever I enter the shop. You have to understand Carribean women because sometimes they just don’t feel like talking, but she is never rude.
Side note: I impulsively tried this packaged banana bread, and it was really good! They have other flavors that I am interested in...
Read moreI don’t typically leave reviews, but I went to the one in Fayetteville at summit point. As I have a few times before. I went inside with my daughter. No one came out. It was ok for a few minutes while we decided what we wanted, but no one ever came out. I had to call the phone in the store to let her know I was up front. Then when she did come out, she acted like I was bothering her. I did not force her to apply for that job, accept that job, or open that location, whatever her role is. People keep getting jobs they don’t want and then get upset with the consumers or clients for choosing to do business with the company. I don’t like exposing such negative energy to my daughter at a young age, so we will not be returning. The lady at the Banks Crossing location is much...
