Taqueria Cinco Hermanos — Restaurant in Florida City

It's finally arrived what we have all been waiting for. My reviews on the Florida City 5 Hermanos Restaurants. Been going to the SW 177 Ave & Krome Ave, for years with exceptional service. Visited the food truck location on US1 & Eureka Dr several times. Got to tell you the Krome location is a blessing when it comes to my favorite tacos, al Pastor & butche. Out of this world simply poetry in motion. Maurico at the US1 & Eureka location is magnificent as well. Hard working and eager to please & service his clients. So congratulations to both locations. The Florida City location. We didn't have an issue with service, atmosphere nothing like that. We had a problem with the kitchen in general. They were out of caldo de res and menudo on a Sunday afternoon. Originally my wife & I were headed to the Krome ave location. On the way down I remembered that 5 hermanos had a location in Florida City. So off we went down south. Only to run into this current situation. Once we found out they were out of both dishes, we were going to leave. But calmer heads prevailed and we stuck it out. But that's OK, maybe my wife & I are to picky. I know the owners for years very professional, dedicated and hard working. They are the true embodiment of the American Dream. We will definitely keep going to 5 Hermanos, most likely the Krome location simply for distance & comfort....

I REPEAT DO NOT EAT HERE ! Me and my wife usually go to the food truck on Krome. But we decided to try the restaurant, horrible it tasted like the reheated the meat and the suace was probably In the fridge for days , the chips were refried as well. It was so bad that I got my check as soon as I could and got out of there quick. Do your self a favor and go next door to Morielas if you want authenticity...

Very disappointing. I love there food truck on krome and the restaurant just did not deliver. First the water of pina taste like bathroom sink water. Then the enchiladas sauce was honestly so bad and even the meat had no flavor at all -10/10 definitely won’t recommend. Look at the burrito! Cheese was cold and hard whole burrito was full of cheese and hardly meat. Waste of...
