TLDR, best breakfast in Gainesville. Everything here is amazing. The Opus coffee is smooth and easy to drink. The biscuits are crispy on the outside and soft with a bit of chew on the inside, the sawmill gravy is one of the best I've had and isn't super peppery or sausage heavy so it lets the biscuit shine. The stuffed croissant was good, though it wasn't a flaky, buttery croissant since it's been stuffed and griddled. The biggest stand-outs are the Irish Benedict Bowl and Sweet Potato Pancakes. I could tell they make their hollandaise fresh, because it has that silky texture and fresh lemon kick you only get from fresh. The corned beef was excellent and the eggs perfectly poached. I've never had sweet potato pancakes but these blew my mind. Cinnamon hit my nose before I even put it in my mouth and it needs zero syrup. They're moist and flavorful with nothing added. The staff were also very nice and the restaurant was clean and in good repair.

Update Nov 2024: Excellent as always. I ordered the same thing, as in the past--Popeye Benedict. Beautiful and just as good as before. Update May 2022: Another phenomenal hit! You really cannot go wrong here. They have added Opus Nitro Cold Brew, but the nitro machine hasn't made it there yet. I'm really looking forward to that! The Popeye's Eggs Benedict is 🔥 and the home fries --WOW!-- Tri-colored potatoes as home fries is a good way to add more vitamins and minerals to your diet. Tasty!! Home-cooked food fast! Convenient location right off I75 between 2 gas stations. Fill up your vehicle's tank and your belly all in 1 stop. Food was great and portions were BIG for the price. Service was great as well, super friendly staff and always there when you look around for a refill of water or bottle of ketchup. Quite a few older folks here (i.e. 80+). Figure they know where to eat!

My husband was hungry and didn't want fast food so we found this restaurant on the way home out of Gainesville. Staff at the cashier / were friendly and polite. We ordered takeout since we were on our way back to work- breakfast quesadilla without the meat with a side of home fries plus a cup of hot black tea. Service was fast; we received the order in about 10 minutes, which was quick considering the restaurant was starting to fill up with the lunch crowd. Food was unexpectedly delicious and had a good portion of home fries to share. Only downside to this experience was the bathroom. Quickly visited to wash my hands and there was hardly any ventilation. My husband had the same experience in the men's room. Good thing it wasn't busy or that quick trip might've been less pleasant. We would come back for the breakfast quesadilla!

Went on a very busy Sunday morning and our waiter was very attentive and sweet. We were seated right away and our food came out very quickly considering how packed it was. I ordered the regular breakfast quesadilla and my boyfriend got some sort of speciality brisket quesadilla. Both were very good; they came with sour cream and salsa. Good portion size and extremely filling. The hashbrowns and home fries are also super good. I ordered the BLT with a croissant and it was super cheap and good! My friend that got the ultimate belly buster (pictured w eggs) really liked it and it was way too much food to finish. The French toast is another dish I recommend The menu has a large variety of options, and it is not too overpriced. Overall one of my favorite breakfast spots in Gainesville and they have 2 locations
