If you’re under the tone of white, don’t eat here. Our waitress decided to help other people that got in after us. Sitting there flipping coins and drawing straws to see who will assist us. Never came to check on us, we spent almost 30 minutes waiting on food, when we get it, she throws the food on the table and hot plates in front of my daughter(grits and hashbrowns). Mean mugs my daughter and we never see her. She was peaking around corners to look at us. Then she comes with the check, and tries to grab my card off my wallet(which was not even a card I wanted to use(handling a baby, so you can understand I only have so many hands). 15 more minutes we don’t see her. We walk up and another worker(male) decides to insult my intelligence by slowly talking and saying, “people like it when you verify the 3 digit code, they are on the back of the card, see”? Then asks because I hadn’t signed the back, asks to see my I.D. to “make sure” it was mine. I pulled out my veterans I.D. along with my license, then tries to “lighten” the conversation to tell me all about the marines. He was one of those, “I was going to join, but…”. He even admitted the waitress was “afraid” we were going to dine and dash…So, yes…$0 tip. She didn’t even bring our food or drinks. The nice Hispanic man that sat us did her job because we were so “dangerous looking”. I asked if I could tip him and they said, “he’s gone, but it’s not customary to tip the greeters”. He even acknowledged a smiling 1 year old and offered fruit because she didn’t like the pancakes and grits. Mostly because there was a “tar-like” substance under the pancake, like someone spit tobacco under it. It was vile. Punish us for being this race(if you have to), not the child.
