Denny's — Restaurant in Florida

Horrid! Id give a zero if I could . Firstly we had to walk past 4 or 5 dirty tables to the back until we found one that was clean. Our waiter seemed to do only one thing decent and that was remember our order without writing it down and I over heard him make the cook remake my kids order bc he put the wrong cheese on it . The cook wore had phones the whole time . I've been involved in the restaurant business for many many years now and never has that been something allowed in the back of house or the front for that matter. The food was God awful. We got the nacho tots and it literally tasted like someone put a whole container of salt on it .I mean it was literally inedible. The cook clearly was hired by someone even less qualified than himself bc he just simply cant cook and he looked high and not from smoking weed . How do you grill 2 pieces of zucchini and squash and the rest is cold and uncooked? Uncooked not undercooked. The country fried steak was just bad , hell, every thing was ridiculously salty to the point where we wouldnt even take it home for the dog and cat and we always do that . The best things were orange dreamsicle shake ( which they dont really put together themselves I'm sure ) and the fish tacos which I asked for extra sauce and pico which it already came with but barely had any pico at all and no sauce on it whatsoever. Like how is th cook just ignoring what the waiter put in the order? . The lettuce was brown !. I mean come on, we were the only ppl with an order in for the whole first 30 mins we were there so he only had our order to cook. The toast that is supposed to come with our breakfast never actually came . I already told the waiter what extra sauces we needed(ranch and tobasco) when we ordered to begin with.... once we got our food I had to ask him AGAIN bc he just never brought it and completely forgot which was weird bc he remembered our whole order to put in the POS system without writing it at all. You know when you leave food out and it gets crusty or gets a filmy layer ...yeah the potatoes were pretty much solid like they had been out over night and they felt it was ok to serve that to my family...2 kids a 3 and 1 year old ...I mean who raised these ppl? It came with some brown gravy that simply wasnt part of the meal nor on the menu picture or in the description ..another salty inedible mess. I mean obviously the management hires whoever applies without actually caring or making sure they're qualified or a decent person in general and doesnt even bother interviewing either. I cant imagine they drug test either . That cook was noticeably out of it . Our food sat on the shelf and the inexperienced cook rang the bell angrily like ten times before a whole different waiter brought our food . Our waiter was no where to be found until the guy had already brought the food .Our waiter never refilled our drinks even when he checked on us ONE time . He did say he'd take off the tots bc we couldnt eat them bc of he salt over load so that was cool ...until we got the bill and he never actually took it off. I've been to that Dennys hundreds of times and it's always crappier than waffle house but this was inexcusable . Who ever runs that place needs to be replaced bc they clearly arent capable of hiring employees who are able to do simple jobs. No wonder this particular dennys has a 3 star rating ...and I'm surprised its that high. That used to be our go to place when we travel and come back into town late at night but we wont be coming back like ever . My kids dads was in th bathroom for an hour after we got home . Smh. There just simply are no standards set by employees or management here...

My husband and I just left Denny's EXTREMELY upset. Where to begin...it took them 45 minutes to place our order, two parties came in after us and got to order and get their food before us. THEN my husband waited for his coffee for 33 minutes while it sat at the edge of the table and our waiter looked right at our cup. Our food was up and instead of going and getting it our waiter went to the people that just came in and sat behind us and had a 5-10 minute chat about the customer's career and how he (the waiter) wanted to go into the marines. While chatting the cook rang the bell 3 times and then twice called the waiter to tell him it was ready. The waiter's response was "I'm coming" each time. We got our food lukewarm (quesadillas, french toast, red potatoes, eggs, bacon) and only took a few bites because it got cold. Not to mention I ordered sweet tea and got unsweet tea. AND instead of giving the guy next to us his water he ordered he gave it to us. Then when paying we did not tip, we let the waiter keep the 9 cent change but did not tip and as walking out he even said "What? No Tip?" OF COURSE NO TIP. His name was WILL. WILL chose to ignore us and chit chat instead of doing his job. Not to mention while chit chatting him and the customer made a joke about another customer (much older man) complaining to management about waiting 30 minutes for coffee before getting up and requesting it himself and complaining. THEY MADE FUN OF THE SITUATION RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CUSTOMER. Normally our service is great but NOT this time. We will go back but if we see WILL is our waiter we will walk out. He is lucky we even paid our bill and lucky he even got the 9 cents. Sorry if this is all mixed up but I am angry and...

By far the worst place in town. Went for a late night meal (10pm) there were only two tables including us. There were multiple employees there but not one was actually working. We ordered and when we got the food half was missing. We told the server and he yelled to the cook to make it. When our missing food was done it just sat in the window. Multiple times our server walked past the food in the window completely oblivious. He was much to busy talking to his girl coworkers. While eating, someone came in to pick up a to go order and they were missing half of their food as well. The entire staff argued with them to just wait and they'd remake their food but at that point the people just wanted to leave with whatever was ready. We finished what food we had received and went to the counter to pay. Our personal server was there to cash us out and literally had to ask us who our server was and what table we were sitting at. There was only us and one other table! Directly besides the cash register and he had just served us for 45 minutes!! When he tried to charge us for the items we never received we simply just pointed to all the food still sitting in the window behind them. The manager just replied, "oh damn." While we were attempting to pay the entire staff just stood at the register and argued about missing smoke breaks. While checking out our server pointed to my fiancés hair and said, "oh you're military?" When my fiancé said yes the server said "well what about me?!" Confused, my fiancé said nothing and just signed his receipt. We will absolutely never be back. It was a horrid experience. I am fully convinced that the entire staff is using drugs. Something needs to be done about...
