Venturing into Maam's Jamaican Restaurant in Miami turned out to be a delightful culinary journey that I can't wait to recount. From the moment I stepped inside to the last bite of my sumptuous breakfast, it was an experience worth cherishing.

Nestled in the heart of Miami, Maam's Jamaican Restaurant immediately exudes a warm and inviting ambiance. The vibrant colors and upbeat music create an atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of the Caribbean.

And speaking of the Caribbean, their breakfast options are nothing short of amazing. I opted for the Ackee and Saltfish, a classic Jamaican dish, and every bite burst with authentic flavors that took my taste buds on an unforgettable voyage. The portions were generous, and the presentation was as delightful as the taste itself.

Now, let me give a special shoutout to the fantastic waitress who made my visit truly exceptional. Meet Sabrina – her radiant smile and attentive service were a standout. She was knowledgeable about the menu, ready with recommendations, and her genuine enthusiasm made me feel right at home. It's rare to find such a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness.

Beyond the wonderful food and service, the attention to detail at Maam's Jamaican Restaurant is worth noting. From the carefully crafted dishes to the cozy decor, it's evident that they prioritize the overall dining experience.

If you're in Miami and craving a genuine taste of Jamaican cuisine, Maam's Jamaican Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Be sure to ask for Sabrina; her impeccable service adds an extra layer of charm to an already exceptional dining experience.

As I left the restaurant with a satisfied belly and a smile on my face, I couldn't help but feel grateful for stumbling upon this culinary gem. Maam's Jamaican Restaurant has undoubtedly earned a permanent spot on my list of favorite...

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Me and my husband visited this place on a Sunday while “baecationing” from Memphis, TN. Reasonably priced and even the small is a great portion at $11. Most large entrees are $22.

Entrees come with rice and peas and Carribean slaw that vinegar based with cucumbers, cabbage and peppers and onions. We ordered a small curry goat, small jerk chicken and the large oxtails.

The beauty is also in the gravies. The right amount of thickness, the meat basked in and seasoned to Carribean perfection. My #1 favorite was the goat. It has Yukon gold potatoes making the consistency of the entree all most like a stew. It might be spicy to some but I'm a hot girl🙋🏽‍♀️ They add just the right amount of that gravy on the rice and peas. My husband #1 was the oxtail. Delicious and tender and falling of the bone as well. The chicken is tender to and just as enjoyable. But we were full and will be finishing it up in the room.

I traveled as a hairstylist for years to Mandeville, Kingston, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. I've never experienced just the right amount of Jamaican spices and tenderness of the meat. If only I could pack this place in my suitcase and take it home. We ended up spending almost $100 because my husband loved the oxtails so much so he ordered a pound of them to go. You won't be...

Just left Maam’s soooo satisfied. Don’t let the dated exterior/interior fool you. The food was amazing. Customer service was excellent. The food area was immaculate. I’d been craving oxtail after so many posts on TikTok and found Maam’s on google. The gentleman that took our order and served us was so nice and welcoming. He was patient with questions and let us taste 3 types of the chicken as we’ve never been there and caught on that my son had a sensitive stomach. The oxtail and the gravy was so tender and delicious as well as the jerk chicken was bursting with wonderful flavors. I got the Jamaican rice w peas and he poured the oxtail gravy all over it. I can eat that all by itself, that rice is very special. Huge portions also, I could not finish the plate. The cabbage salad that they serve w the plate was super fresh and crisp with the light sweet/sour flavor of whatever they use for dressing. Kinda rice wine vinegar vibes. I’m so happy we went and I’m sure I’ll be back before the week ends. Loved...

I’m from Texas and we have Jamaican restaurants, but saying that feels disrespectful after eating here. This was the first spot I came to as soon as I landed in Miami and boy let me tell you. I was sweating, making mouth noise sounds, sniffling from the spices, licking my fingers due to destroying the napkins. As a Hispanic man who loves everything season, beans and grilled chicken, Maam’s Jamaican will be my go to every time I visit Miami. The portions are loaded, the quality is amazing, and topped it off with a bomb drink called Ting.

I ended up just walking out of this place. The older lady was soooo mean!!! If she's the owner, I can't imagine the business lasting. You would think with only two patrons in the restaurant that she would be a little kinder. Nastiest lady ever. Just go next door to the Chinese place for all that's worth!!! They're kind and not racist. I guess that I was either too feminine for her or too light. Nevertheless, I wish there was a spot for zero stars.

I gave this restaurant a second chance after getting food poisoning from old food served to me years ago the owner is very nice but his sister is so rude and gives me a racist hateful attitude like she’s bothered by my presence and my questions, some people are miserable and bitter. So tonight I worked 16 hours and was too tired to cook and again I was dealt with a expensive stomachache from old oxtails one of my favorite dishes.
