Our absolute favorite menu item here is the gluten free garlic cheesy bread. It’s soooo good. The bread is not dry like lots of other GF breads. However, we are a little concerned about the risk of cross contamination here. Seems to be high due to the other flours in the air and we have had a gluten reaction a couple times after eating here, unfortunately. We’ve been here dozens of times (not always to eat) and for a while there was always an unfriendly employee working so we quit going for the combo of the rude girl and the risk of cross contamination. Now that they put seating in the alley a lot of friends have wanted to check it out so we have gone a few times recently and haven’t seen that employee. Service was much friendlier. We just got drinks last time so no update on food. Service is still pretty slow, but they are a small joint that can get pretty busy on weekends so it’s understandable.

The pizza was not great....not much cheese and a lot of crust around but bottom was soft. Sauce was a little to sweet for us. The bread sticks are just pizza crust and not worth the money since you get a lot of crust on the pizza. The sandwiches looked good. I think we spent $30 just for pizza and breadsticks because we had water to drink. The only "service" was taking our order as once you give your order you have to pick it up...they don't bring it to you. You also get your own drinks. It was nice to eat downtown and the place is in an old building and had an upstairs for additional seating or private parties. I believe they have outdoor seating in the summer too. If we went back we would probably try the sandwiches or get pizza by the slice instead.

I like to treat myself by going here. They have interesting daily pizza flavors, but my favorite is their Calzones. They have several toppings to choose from. The smaller calzone typically comes with 6 toppings: cheese, sauce, and 4 others. They have several choices in each category. Trying to remember, but I believe they have 6 or 7 sauce choices, at least that many meats, even more cheese choices, and lots of fruits (including pineapple for you Hawaiian lovers) and vegetables to choose from. From pesto and feta to garlic and hamburger, you'll probably find your favorite pizza topping. They offer a combo as well that includes a drink and (side or pasta) salad with the calzone as well. Other than the calzone, you can choose to order a slice of one of the daily pizzas (2 are always cheese and pepperoni) or you can also order entire pizzas if you want to treat the group. Calling ahead makes it easier on them and less wait time for you. And no place would put "pint" in its name unless there were alcoholic beverages. I'm not much of a drinker. They appear to have several different types, domestic and otherwise. They no longer have a Coke freestyle machine, just a regular Coke fountain. Overall, I would recommend this place if...

New to Fort Wayne and ordered a pick up order. Repeated it twice to the guy on the phone he repeated it back. He said 140. Was the total and tried to charge my card if failed. So I told him my son is coming. My son took my card and went to pick up the food. They charged my son "a mandatory 18% gratuity". My son came home and the order was not correct. I called and the guy on the phone said that's what my receipt says and the gratuity is mandatory. I then went online and added up the items that I ordered they came out to the original total. Minus the pizza that was missing it was 23.00 dollars less. So I was shortchanged a pizza and overcharged 23 dollars. Plus I was forced to pay an extra 18 percent without being told.

I don't know the owner so I will not talk about them but the workers that were on shift on Friday September 27 2024 are unethical and disrespectful.

Good luck I lost 160 dollars today but you all lost a potential customer.

Update: If you would like to make it right let's go through my bill. Charge me the correct amount and refund the money I...

We’ve been coming to the Pint and Slice for years. Unfortunately, we hadn’t been in a while but decided to go down for a slice and the infamous cheesy bread! When we ordered the cheese bread we were told they had changed the cheesy bread. It was not the same AT ALL! The bread was soft and mushy and a lot smaller than before. Lacked flavor. Was a completely different recipe that wasn’t good at all. While waiting for our cheese bread, we dove into a couple slices of pizza. Not the same crust either! It lacked the golden dense buttery crust. It seems that maybe they are cutting costs. I’m not exactly sure when the change’s actually occurred. Maybe when they had a “reboot”. I suppose if it was my first time visiting, the food might be considered fine because I wouldn’t know the difference. I believe in supporting local restaurants and businesses and realize change needs to happen in some cases (costs etc.) but trading quality food shouldn’t happen. The Pint and Slice is such a great place offering an incredible atmosphere! I hope they will reconsider their...
