Wow, had one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had here today. I went through the drive-thru. We had a pretty big order: 4 biggie bags, a combo, an extra 10 piece nugget, and 2 extra JBCs. Whenever we order more than 2 meals, we make sure to check we have anything before leaving the parking lot. We ended up missing a sandwich, one of the nuggets, and all of our sauces.
We pulled back around to the drive-thru to let them know. When we got to the window, the manager, Ashley, flung a bag at me and curtly said "here." I opened the bag and there were no nuggets or sauces, so I waved my hand to get her attention through the window. I told her we were missing the nuggets and sauces. She was clearly agitated by me, closed the window, and I waited a minute or two. When she came back, she wanted to argue with me because she "went and asked the person who bagged and they said they put everything in." It's weird to argue with me really, but it was her attitude and tone that was most out of pocket. Eventually she relented, closed the window again, spent some time arguing with her fellow employees or whatever. Our food is growing cold. She opens the window again, throws another bag at me. I open it and there's no sauces.
My wife told me to pull around so she can talk to someone inside. She goes in, asks someone behind the counter if she could speak to a manager or supervisor about the incident. Turns out the rude woman at the window was the manager. My wife asks for the sauces and explained that her throwing bags at us was upsetting and uncalled for. The woman, Ashley, said "I could throw a bag at you, if you want." My wife just said that she doesn't want that. She just wants the sauces. Ashley walked away and the employee behind the counter gave her our sauces and we left.
So, the service here is honestly terrible. We don't normally have a problem here. We like going to this Wendy's, but I don't plan on going back with Ashley there and I wouldn't recommend anyone else going either. For everyone's reference, Ashley is a white woman with poorly-dyed hair. It's orangey except for the roots, which are brown. Probably best to steer...
Read moreHad a large order right after Easter Sunday, at Wendy's on Lima Rd, that is joined to the gas station in front of Crazy Pinz. They missed giving me two of my baked potatoes for the combo meals, that I chose no fries, and two of the drinks were not what they were supposed to be for two of Six people's food on my order. I did without a drink, because I hate Orange Fanta, when I asked for two Dr. Peppers, and I did without my potatoe... just had a sandwich. My son didn't get his drink of choice either, because he asked for Dr. Pepper too. My youngest didn't get her baked potatoe either. Usually we don't get like 5-6 combo meals but that day we did. They really messed up when we placed a large order for around $70.00 when we'd been moving all day. Also, on an extra grilled chicken sandwich I ordered for my husband, they didn't special make it per my request either. I asked for the regular bun, lettuce, tomatoe & pack of honey mustard. They made it the new way with the New type of bun he dislikes, and the funky field greens, again, he dislikes, no regular lettuce, no honey mustard pack of sauce either. So, not sure if they always do this when they get a large order? Disappointed in the service, since I was in the drive thru for several minutes, and they didn't ensure they had all my order together, or even correctly filled. I'm normally pretty understanding because I've worked in fast food and nice family restaurants. But that day it was just careless service to make that many mistakes, from wrong drinks, to missing food, to not making a sandwich that had been marked up special...
Read moreIf it were possible to give less than one star I would! We ordered a Jr. bacon cheeseburger, three hamburgers, and a medium fry. We got what we ordered, however, the fries were cold and soggy, and by the taste of them, probably old as well. Like more than 4 hours old. They shouldn't have ever been served to a customer! A number of them were burnt, so we clearly got a mix of multiple batches.
My first burger was lukewarm, but because it was served on an untoasted bun that clearly had just been pulled from a bag, and was piled with cold condiments and vegetables, it was cold before I could finish it, and each subsequent burger was stone cold. Also, because the buns were untoasted, they were very dry and crumbly and sort of fell apart on us.
We also weren't given any napkins. We were traveling and on a time constraint, so we couldn't go back to have any of this corrected, but I did try to call and speak to a manager. The first time I called, it rang endlessly for a good minute or so before it just stopped ringing. We waited a bit and tried calling back again, and it was finally answered, but the voice was so faint like it was answered on speakerphone and the person went fifty feet away, closed a door and was trying to speak to us from there. When I asked to speak to a manager, they hung up on me!
I don't recommend anyone go to this location based on this experience. The overwhelming feeling we got was that no one there gave a flying flip about customers or even the food. Disappointing is the best adjective I can use while...
