Bosses Pizza, Wings & Burgers Western Center — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Boy Boy Boy... Called in and placed a to go order for some good tasting pizza and salad for the children. Upon arrival, was greeted with a smile and extremely welcoming young lady. Ordered a two liter Big Red and a cup of ice. Next heard a guy mumbled under his breath from the back of business assuming in the dish room. Well while I was grabbing a lid from the center of the dinning area the same guy that mumbled minutes before walked towards the front dinning area from the back area saying "Boy boy, boy". There were two customers inside the establishment that appeared to be a couple. Next the male customer said, "Girl, girl, girl. Then out of the blue the dishwasher employee said, "And I am from Africa, is that's what's next" First, I ignored the comment because it was unprofessional, tasteless, and ignorant. Well best of believe it the comment was repeated. At this point, I'm amused cause any person that would go out their way to be annoying at their work place is beyond special in my opinion. First timers to Bosses, I guess the Boss wasn’t in because we went based on all the good reviews and it wasn’t anything like the reviews. Let me start with positives … the staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. We were the only ones there at dinner time, and we now have a new rule - if you’re the only one there at 630PM just move on! We got the Big O, potato skins, and bone in wings. The I believe they added the toppings after they ran the pizza thru the oven because they were not cooked at all, but the cheese underneath was melted. Weird but okay. Potato skins were as expected, greasy and unhealthy but okay. The wings were a very spongey texture and just off so we didn’t even eat them. It appears most of the awesome 4-5 star reviews were 2+ years ago. The pandemic may have caused them some issues like many. We won’t be back and I wish them the best! Based on these reviews I’m hoping that it was just the wrong staff working today…if not these reviews can’t be real!

Save yourself the disappointment of terrible food, service, and lack of safety, sanitation and hygiene practices!

On top of not getting our order right three times…My Chicken Philly was dry and the bread was hard as heck. My husbands burger The Pop’s had burnt links (it didn’t even look like the Pop’s at the Lake Worth location). The tater tots were drenched in salt. The wings had a bad odor. The bosses fries had dried Old bacon mixed with fresh bacon.

Clearly we taste and trashed!
