BIRRIERIA Y TACOS ALEX TIJUANA STYLE — Restaurant in Four Corners States

We were there today 11/21/24 at the Sunset location, between 4 and 5pm. We had visited the Sunset location twice before, and the food was excellent! When we visited before there were two ladies in the kitchen And the service was great! Today we stopped in and there were two men working the counter. My wife ordered guacamole tostadas, and the guy taking order they could make them. My wife had ordered these before on prior visits. Tostadas, no beans or meat just guacamole. I ordered an order of 4 Street tacos, rice and beans. We checked the order in the car before we left, and found out they were bean tostadas. We had discussed this with the guy who took the order. This what not what she ordered, and what they agreed to make. My wife took the order back inside, and they told her that they did not make guacamole tostadas there, and he gave her a side order of guacamole. He had a little grin on his face as he gave her the order! My wife was visibly upset about the order. We got home and we're ready to eat. I gave my wife her order, and I reached in the bag to get my order, and the plate had been put in the bag upside-down, and most of my food fell all over the edge of the table, fortunately not on the floor. They lied when we asked them if those were guacamole tostadas! That's unacceptable, and we do not...

Man so disappointed, been wanting to try this place for a minute, 2 of my coworkers went for lunch to check it out. The inside is so cold you can't even get comfortable. The price is a but much, you get alot of food but it doesn't taste half as good. I got the 4 street tacos and the meat had a weird after taste, my coworker had the el pastor and he said it tasted old and dry yet greasy, and my other coworker had a taco plate kids meal and said the fries were the best part. The tacos were delicious. My favorite were the al pastor, chicken, and birria. The taquitos were crunchy and the guacamole, crema, and cheese was a perfect combination with the chipotle salsa.
