Beef Taquitos: Visited first time time June 6,2021. Hesitant with my Take out.. order ..,because this area doesn't produce good Mexican food. I ordered two beef taquitos and one grilled steak flour taco.
The menus says it comes with lettuce, sour cream,shredded cheese and rice as a lunch special. I didn't want the rice, so the cashier changed my order which resulted in deep fried taquitos with no cheese...they were dry as a Rope!!
I called them for an explanation and was told they can't fry the cheese inside the taquitos.. because it will melt out in the fryer oil. Instead they melt the cheese over the taquitos like enchiladas and the condiments on the side. But you can't get it like this.... unless you order the lunch or dinner special..smh So beware THESE ARE NOT YOUR 7-11 Taquitos and any changes to your order from what they have printed in the Menu could result in your dissatisfaction
Grilled Steak Tacos:Asada Flour Taco I order one.. again hesitant because this area doesn't produce good Mexican food. The menu says..cilantro, onions, steak, and salsa. I received little chopped cubes and one slither of grilled steak. It was seasoned well.. however I did not receive Cilantro..instead it was italian parsley or an extremely mild type of cilantro and I mean extremely mild..no cilantro taste. The salsa is a clear, opague green..it is Hot!!
Chips and Salsa: Chips are not light and airy...there hard with fake bubbles to appear as if they were deep fried. I could slice open your forehead with these My friend. Salsa is a Red too watery concontion...watch out for the drip on your white shirt.... no chunkyness of veggies.
Overall:. If you deviate from Menu items you will have problems and confusion with your order. People may still patronize because they have an outside patio and a interesting name Rey Aztecs. I believe because they couldn't execute on the three small items I ordered which were expensive is a sign of....how more complex items...

The service was mediocre, we ordered two appetizers for the table and it came together with our diner, not once the server came back to check on us to make sure everyone had gotten what we had ordered, or it was to our satisfaction. We finished our meals and finally the server showed up. I told the server we had a birthday at our table and asked her to sing happy birthday for our friend and the server said yes (I figured they will do it when we order desert), we ordered desert and our plates still had not been cleared off the table, we had to ask our server to clear it. When desert came, they never sang happy birthday for our friend and when I asked the server, she replied that the manager had said no to singing, because they were short staffed. This was very surprising to me so I asked the server to ask the manager to come to the table and a gentleman named Antonio came to the table and I asked why he had declined a client's request to sing happy birthday and his reply was: This restaurant does not do that, the owners of the restaurant had instructed us not to sign happy birthdays because they are servers, not entertainers". This was really disappointing, so if you have a birthday celebrations and expect them to sing for the birthday guest, this is not the place. Then came the desert, this added to our disappointment. Read moreI placed an order for delivery, via their website, not knowing the delivery was powered by DoorDash. After I placed my order at 5:35pm, I received multiple “confirmation texts” from 4 different numbers regarding my order. The last message received was at 6:40pm that my order was “handed to me.” It wasn’t. I call DoorDash customer service and they confirm the Dasher marked my order as delivered. Then I call the restaurant and the staff tells me the dasher came, waited 5 minutes, then left. I arrive at the restaurant thinking I would simply just pick up my food only to be informed that they threw it out because my dasher left. Mind you, when placing my order via the RESTAURANTS website they ask for a phone number. I received no call or text informing me of this new information regarding a $100 order. Naturally, I’m frustrated because the staff was careless, rude, and refused to refund me. I understand the dasher was at fault but to throw away my food when you had a way to contact me was wrong.
