Nice place for dairy allergies/vegans. Good food but inconsistent…sometimes the sushi is good, sometimes not so good. Sometimes the curry is good, sometimes not so good.

I have mixed feelings …obviously lol

I usually go in & get takeout or I DoorDash it to my house. 1 time my friend got sick from their vegan curry 🧐 which is weird when you think about it because there’s no dairy (they use coconut milk) nor is there any animal flesh/meat to go bad for food poisoning, etc so it makes you wonder what the heck happened

I had the same curry on the same day because we ordered the same thing, just portioned separately for her meal & mine. I personally didn’t get sick thankfully but I trust my best friend’s gut and know something must’ve been wrong with the food because she never gets food sick/poisoned.

As for the sushi, sometimes it’s delicious & sometimes it doesn’t taste as good so idk if the different chefs have different skills in that department or what haha but it’s confusing because I never know what I’m gonna get. So I order from them significantly less now since it’s off putting &...

Food was okay, but service was non-existant. Went on a Thursday, for my daughter's birthday (her request). It was a small party (8 people, 3 of whom were children); we were seated, drinks taken, we wrote our orders for their buffet offer.. but we never saw them after the food arrived.

No refills, no offer for a second order (on a buffet offer!), no checking in, no offer for desert (which they do have!), nothing. I'm a pretty generous and forgiving person when it comes to service industry and restaurant staff, but this was egregiously bad. The restaurant was barely busy, maybe 3 other parties tops. We were handed our checks and promptly ignored until we paid (weren't told how to even pay, we had to take the receipt to the cash register ourselves).

At $30 for a buffet as an adult, and nearly $20 for children, and also being warned that excess NOT EATEN food will be charged extra, you'd think we'd be given more opportunities to order, so that we can manage our appetites more effectively. Nope. I left hungry, $70 poorer and nothing to show for it. I feel like I just...

Ordered from grubhub. This may be the worst grubhub experience I've ever had and I've had food just not show up several times. Sushi is supposed to be bite sized and there's was huge. The spicy tuna roll was "ok" but not very spicy. The shrimp tempura was a complete travesty. A complete insult to Asian food. It was covered in iceberg lettuce and had iceburg lettuce in the roll causing the shrimp to be soggy and limp. The parts that weren't falling apart and soggy were hard as if they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The whole thing was oily and greasy. My walnut shrimp would have been good except it was full of effing iceburg lettuce!! I HATE iceburg lettuce and all my food tasted like it. I will never eat here again. I'm going to tell everyone I know and all my 5000ish live stream followers about how bad this was and to never eat here. I'm usually a very agreeable person but even the cat wouldn't touch this sushi. All in all I spent like 70 dollars on the worst dining experience I've had probably in...

Came to Johnstown to hike and explore on a July Sunday. My friend and I first hiked at Lorain/Stonycreek. Afterwards, we were famished and my friend had the task of finding us a great lunch spot. Wahlah! Osaka, it was! We were promptly greeted and seated in a booth. They had an all-you-can-eat option. We looked at the menu and decided we would opt out of that and just order from the menu, saving a few bucks for the amount of food we wanted. We ended up ordering a roll and a combo platter of sashimi and a roll. We also got miso soup and seaweed salad with soft drinks. Service was fast, our server was very nice and efficient, the food was all good and presentation eye catching. The only critique would be our diet pepsis. They tasted "off", "heavy", maybe carbonation not quite right. Other than that, a great dining option!

I will admit the food is good, however I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of inclusion for children. I went for lunch with my mother and daughter and they only had 1 item for a child : dinner hibachi. In addition I ordered her a Shirley temple to drink (3$) and she was fed out of a bowl. I was appalled. When my LUNCH bill is $65 I expect my child to at least be able to drink from a cup. I spent more time trying to help her manage a bowl to get a drink then I was able to eat my own meal. My overall experience is poor with this place. I can spend a lot of money for great food elsewhere and have my child treated respectfully and appropriately. And for the record, my 5 year old is extremely well behaved. She sat and ate, never left her seat, very polite.

Prompt dinner service, polite & pleasant waitstaff, very reasonable prices, and the cuisine is exquisitely prepared. Never had curry before, and tried their red curry chicken. It's a little spicy, as indicated on the menu, but this was not very hot at all. Just a little burn at the back of the throat, but it didn't drown out all the other wonderful flavors! I now LOVE curry! Will definitely be back again to try something else! The decor has changed dramatically from the old Mexican restaurant that was there, and it's a welcoming, bright space, with views of the chef making sushi! This place is a breath of fresh air for Johnstown!
