Great experience, great food, and most importantly great prices! Most of time here, gratuity was included already. Even if you have separate tickets, it'll be on there. Usually there's not much of a wait to be seated but they have to make sure they have a chef ready, if they're all busy, you'll have to wait. We were seated but they explained the reason for the wait. The prices are really reasonable. You'll be able to truly enjoy yourself. Depending on your party size, it may still cost a lot but compared to other restaurants I find them to be reasonable. The menus can be sticky. The restrooms are decently clean compared to most restaurants. The health score is an A; that's always a plus. There's plenty of parking as well. The kids meal come with soup or salad. Adult meals come with soup and salad. Please check your ticket before you pay as well. We had a situation were it was wrong but it was corrected before we left. If you're in the area, check em out!

You need to wear a mask when walking in public spaces and your temperature is taken. Our hibachi cook, Henry was wonderful. It cost us about $80 for 3 meals, a sushi roll, green tea and coke with tax and tip. The service was extremely slow. Had to ask 5 times for my green tea to be refilled. Was given the sushi roll without the bowls for the soy sauce (had to wait). Had to ask 3 different people for my steamed rice. Our hibachi cook gave me some fried rice in the meantime. Finally got the steamed rice but it was over cooked in the middle. Mushy rice is not very tasty. When we arrived it was not very busy so there was no excuse for not refilling our drinks (the female servers were busy talking and not paying attention). Towards the end the place got very busy hence the difficulty in getting service. Probably will not go back.

Ordered 5 soups (they were good) ordered a tuna tataki(it was ok) then we ordered 6 rolls all of which were pasty and lacked any flavor but fishy fish throughout. The service was awful and they charge 18% gratuity just for sitting down. I guess they can treat you like garbage since they’re already getting paid. This picture is at the end of our meal we told the server we were dissatisfied she said sorry and brought us the check for the full amount. We paid then I found her and asked to talk to a manager. She said he was not there and that maybe he would help me if he was there but she would not. This is atrocious. Do better. Would not recommend unless you know nothing about sushi or what it’s supposed to be like.

I wish I could give thise review a 0, because Samurai Blue doesn't even deserve a 1. By FAR some of the worst guest service I've ever had the displeasure of having to endure. My son and I were sat at a table while my wife was getting our infant daughter from the car. By the time she had made it to our table our "server" had walked over and asked us to leave because they were "closed". I looked around and saw the Hibachi chefs that were still cooking for the guests who were already there, and I began to get a little upset. So I tried allowing them to get a little redemption and I asked how could they be closed if people are still cooking? She responded by saying , "oh those were the last people that we are cooking for." ... What ? On their door, their hours of operation say they closed for lunch at 2:30. She said "oh yeah we cut the kitchen early. The chefs have to go on break too you know". I asked her why she sat us down if they cut all the chefs early, and she replied by saying that she didnt know, and she was new, and that she started yesterday, and Blah blah. I had a very hard time believing that because she sounded way to cavalier telling me this, as if she'd had much practice telling guests this before. That is one of the most asinine things I've heard .... I was in complete disbelief. None of it made sense! You mean to tell me guys get a two hour break in between the lunch and dinner shifts , and you decide to cut the kitchen early during the LUNCH hours because the cooks have to go on break too?? And then claim not to know about it cause you were new?? That is totally unacceptable. And to make things worse, not a manager insight! They sent the server over to tell us that we had to leave. I felt totally disrespected . The establishment made a ludicrous decision, and the managers are too cowardly to come out and deal with the consequences of making such ludicrous decisions. I've never seen paying guests be turned away in such a manner. It was utterly embarrasing to have to walk back past all those eating faces with my hungry children. Now, instead of sitting down and having a nice lunch with my family, we had to resort to going through the Chick-fil-A drive-thru. This is coming from a manager who helps to run a business. That is NOT how you do things. Samurai blue will never see another penny from me...

I am prompted to write this review based on the last 4 visits, with yesterday being the most recent. This restaurant used to be awesome, our go to place for sushi, and hibachi....beginning when they were located behind the Walgreens. It used to be a treat to go and receive great friendly service, and most importantly great food. We were thrilled for their success to obtain the property in the Kroger plaza, and looked forward to seeing the finished product. At first, again, we were really happy for them, the food was the same great quality, the service seemed to be about the same, but of course some hiccups due to their expansion..perfectly understandable. Unfortunately to our dismay, it all has gone down since. The food is not awful, but not the same quality. The service has really changed. The ladies are rude, and not friendly. My family stood and waited to be seated while the hostesses and wait staff stood around the rear podium and chatted. I thought surely this can't be, but they upon being greeted were taken so far back that I chose to leave. Yesterday my friend left her keys inside the restaurant at lunch, and when she called back to see if they were left, a woman quickly told her no, they weren't found. Even after she asked her again getting the feeling that she really didn't look or ask anyone else, she was told no. She drove back to the restaurant with a coworker only to find that they were in fact found, and were thankfully put at the hostess' stand. This was the last straw for me regarding returning to Samurai Blue, the food was only edible yesterday, portion was light and the service was lack luster. It was 1:00 when we left the restaurant and none of the grills were occupied, nobody was at the sushi bar, and only a few tables/booths had patrons. Unfortunately, it seems that I am not the only one who won't be returning. Shogun is right around the corner...good service and great food. Hopefully they won't get too big for their...

Please beware of the gratitudes pre- addition of 18Y% added to total check. After our $135.00 bill we gave the table chef $10.00 and $18.00 CASH to be added for tip These bandits sole almost $40.00 for added gratuity and cash on top of the $10.00 to chef. They have a miniature sign in the entrance that NOBODY will read or see. I asked the help about the only to be ignored and walked away from !!! We will never do this again. Beware of thieves who run this establishment $39.60 in a tip and rudeness and no accountability At least post on the menu where patrons can be made aware of this “NEW POLICY “ the management now enforced. 30 % tip is outrageous and totally unacceptable to seniors on fixed income and young adults. If y’all decide to eat here please don’t make the mistake we did Dear mr/mrs owner ———- put a decent sign in the front when new customers walk in ——— not hiding in the corner where it cannot and will not be seen You will be reported to BBB on Monday for you poor actions and business practices I see other patrons have Been ripped- off as well and wrote bad reviews. When will y’all learn the proper way to conduct legitimate food service operation and keep skimming off the top ? What will it take for y’all to learn from this. You have not heard the last from me on this matter —- I am so mad I could spit bullets right now. Why do the owners not respond to even one review? Because they don’t really care about the customers or the reputation of the establishment....
