Tin Lizzy's Cantina — Restaurant in Roswell

If I could give negative stars I would for starters. We came to this beautiful looking establishment, come to find out that was the only good thing was there. The hosts looked pissed, miserable, and ready to leave. Even through all that we decide hey, we’re not going to let this ruin the night. We even mention to hostess/ server that it’s our first time being here. Unfortunately it kept getting worse. Had to ask the hostess to please bring me a high chair. She proceeds to ignore me so I made it my point to be heard. I asked 3 times finally on the 3rd time she acknowledged and say I’ll be right back she comes back with a booster chair for a 19mo old. I again tell her I need a high chair not a booster. She looked at me with such hate and anger she left and then came back to us with one slammed it down and said here you go. She then left us and for about 15mins my family and I were just waiting for someone to come greet us. Nope everyone made sure to walk around us and not acknowledge us. I then made a comment when a server walked by if we don’t get greeted in 5 mins I’m out. Finally the server that over herd us goes inside then comes back out to tell us that the server that sat us had left for the evening and that she would be serving us. Now at that point I should have left with my family. But instead we stay to try the food. The family is hungry, the baby is hungry. Food was terrible it’s just tacos and drinks. I asked for their Short beef rib birria tacos worst ever don’t order it, it’s rip off $13 dollars for plain beef tacos you can make at home. Order nachos more veggies than protein. Over all this location needs to recheck themselves and redo their menu. I’d rather go home and cook then visit this establishment. Overall negative -10stars for me and my family. Horrible service! They would get no stars if I could give them.We were seated but no one came to take our order. We watched as Taylor, the waitress/server took a white family order that was next to us who came in after us. Not one time did she acknowledge our presence..and I call that racist!! We were here last week and had great service..and when our waitress wasn't around someone else asked if we needed anything so maybe Taylor doesn't need her job since she doesn't know how to talk to people or serve them in a restaurant.

When we went to talk to the manager, Letty she apologized but I felt she wasn't truly sorry. We left but we came back in to ask for the corporate office information and told the manager that I felt this was racist but instead of giving me a phone# to corporate I was gicen a card to the same place for the GM who wasn't there. And to make matters worse, the waitress Taylor came over to me to tell me she was not racist and walked away. Very rude!! Taylor needs to be fired!! The manager, Letty acted scared of Taylor when I told her that Taylor needed to apologize for making a comment to me then walking away. But instead she did nothing. We also noticed that some other people sat where we were and was getting service and white, of course.

And the manager, Letty doesnt need to be a manager since she cant handle her employees.

We have never experienced such blatant disrespect which leads me to believe it was RACIST all the way.

I think a lawsuit might be in order since workers can talk to customers any kind of way and get away with it!! Never again.Or maybe I will just contact the media and see what they think...

First thing- I’d give 1 star for being cashless. So no card, no app to pay, no service. We will not be back. This is new, we used to be frequent attendees.

Our nearly $15 trio chip order barely had chips for the amount of options to dip. I was asked if I wanted more chips after the limp amount was gone and asked if I’d be charged- it would seem so but he was kind and topped us off. Which in reality, should have been the actual amount.

Our server was patient. Kind & tended us well.

The remodel is boring. My kids miss the lizard art. Seating is uncomfortable still but easy clean up I suppose for them. Solid wood benches vs cushions.

The pinball area is a nice addition. Although I didn’t play due to time, but not sure on cost.

My kids meals chicken tenders were okay, one kid stated they were rubbery chewy but another kid stated they were okay but too young to explain why she had so many left over. They removed the meal options for three taco - just per item only

The app to pay, goes straight to a 22% tip amount because it’s a “popular amount” based on the company they use… trend. I tip very well. You can change the tip amount. Typically, I would give cash tip but now that’s a gone option for servers to get. I tip based on how well I’m served. Not on any other matrix. I usually clarify/ask waiters if they get all tips or a cut taken via restaurant (some do)or put into a tip pool but didn’t get a chance because after I waited a while- I had to pay & didn’t see him again.

Bar was helpful as we needed a leftover box.
