Chef Ben Sushi & Asian Express — Restaurant in Goodyear

I'm rating the service as poor because of what I experienced when I tried to pay my bill, not because the service was actually poor. The food was pretty good and my server (I can't remember the young lady's name) was great. The only issue I had was when I tried to claim my Groupon voucher. The voucher expired a few weeks ago and was originally worth $20. The value after the expiration date was $10 and that's what I was expecting to get taken off my bill, just $10. Although the promotional value expired, the terms and conditions state that the paid value doesn't expire. The man and woman who I believe to be the owners told me that I couldn't use the Groupon because it was expired; I attempted to show them the terms and conditions on my Groupon App, but they refused to look. The woman asked my why I didn't come in before the expiration date...really?? I would've loved to because then I would've gotten $20 off and not have to waste my time argueing with you! They argued fervently with me for at least 10 minutes before reluctantly deducting the $10 from my bill. I'm typically not one to cause a stir at restaurants (or anywhere else for that matter), but I was really put-off by the way these two individuals argued with me...especially considering I was correct! The food was good and the prices were low, but I don't plan on ever returning to this restaurant after...

Last night I arrived here around 5o'clock to pick up an order, this was my first time ever coming here so as I approached the door there was a sign that informed Us to call the number to the restaurant to inform them we are there to pick up our meal, which I did. A lady answered the phone, I informed her who I was picking up for and she replies "oh yes that order is ready now, you may come inside and pick up the food from the counter". So I open the door and both people behind the counter scream at me to get outside and not come in. I was taken back and appalled at this as I just spoke to somebody 5 seconds prior who told me to come inside. Terrible customer service, overreacting at its finest. And as I grab my food from them when they set it on a push cart by the front entrance the same two people just give me dirty looks as if I did something terribly wrong.

Not only will I never recommend this place but I will also let my friends and family know who always tell me how good this place is to not eat here anymore due to this. Came in for a "quick" dinner with my wife before she had to go to work. We came in, were seated, and 45 minutes later, still didn't have our food. That's slightly annoying, but it gets worse. We were served 2 rolls of sushi (we ordered 3) and my wife and son (1yr old) grabbed a piece and served themselves. After we served ourselves, the waitress came out and told us it was not our rolls and took away the rolls and took them to the back. They served a table who was seated after us, and SERVED THE ROLL OF SUSHI MY WIFE TOUCHED to the other table! I'm pretty certain that isn't sanitary, and wrong. Then, after the hour wait, the order was wrong. Not too excited. We ordered their dinner special, and we received a normal order instead. All in all, it took about an hour+ to get our food, while all the to go orders were fulfilled, and the couple seated after us got their food first. I wouldn't recommend it, regardless of...
