i really enjoyed my experience here, the service was quick, and they had an abundance of employees, i LOVED the Cheeseburger i ordered they make the burger patties super thin, so they put 2 on the regular burger, but the edges get crispy and it's so good. As a part of the combo, you get a side and their fries are the super tiny shoestring fries (totally a favorite) I also ordered a small onion ring which were delicious One of the managers came over and checked on us, most places don't do this anymore, it may just be an opening week thing but it's nice. I ordered one of the Custards, they call it a Concrete, I got the Turtle caramel pecans and chocolate sauce with a vanilla custard, BELIEVE me when I tell you it was SUPER SUPER Rich, and i ordered a mini (think McDonalds happy meal drink size) it SO was more than enough to quench that sweet tooth of mine, it was good expensive in my humble opinion, but GOOD. in total i spent $12.75 on the burger combo AND an additional onion ring order WORTH IT, the Concrete cost an additional $5 (hence the expensive tag) it was tiny but good. Yall go over and enjoy a nice burger combo or even a Hot Dog combo they...
Read moreFood at this visit was not quite worth the price. We ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a double burger meal. The chicken sandwich was not worth $8 because it was just chicken and pickles on a roll with nothing else. The burger was flavorless and the patties were very thin so the double was the equivalent of a standard single patty. The lettuce and tomato seemed fresh. The fries were thin cut and while they were fried well with a nice crisp texture, they still had some body. The fry sauce was very weak to Texan spice standards - The jalapeno fry sauce included in the bag was not any more spicy than the standard Whataburger ketchup. We upgraded the drinks to shakes and had a choice of small or large. We chose the small. It was a $2 upgrade that produced a very tiny 9-10oz shake. The flavor was excellent, but not worth $2 for as small as it was. Overall, I feel like the possible quality could be improved given that it's a brand new restaurant, so I will give them another shot in the future, but as of right now, I don't feel that the quality of the food was...
Read moreSo Iâm dripping wet with sweat because I own a construction company and we are working down the street from this location. A Freddyâs employee tried to cut me in line as I was waiting behind two other customers and the manager stopped him and told the other cashier not to take his order but to take the next customers order. I thought, oh how nice of them to take care of customers before their own employees but no⊠they took care of both of the White customers that were in front of me and then called the white Freddyâs employee around me to get his order taken care of before they took my order. I am not sure if itâs because I am Hispanic covered in sweat or that I look like a regular construction worker, but it shouldnât matter. That was prejudice at its finest. Jean was the manager that called him up in front of me and when I confronted her about it, she laughed. Happy to speak to corporate about this. Itâs all on security camera at the register. Might pursue...
