Located at the center of this strip mall is some absolutely quality food and what looks to be a great lunch spot. All tables seem to be tablecloths under plastic and normally seat 4. The food was fair priced for what we received in flavor and quantity and so what more could you ask for but for a Drive-thru. This place was incredibly quick to whip up our food even though we hadn't called ahead and every single table was full besides the front table where I waited and could look at the triangular shape of the interior and the personal items that adorned the walls and shelves around me. The lady who rung me up was very polite as was the lady who brought me my to-go bag.
Onto the food!
Wow, this is not the bread that you normally get with an Italian Beef (Panino Di Manzo in this case). The bread chosen is incredibly soft and airy, yet it really has the structure to hold together when soaked by juice which is included in a cup with a few stray pieces of beef for enjoying after the sandwich. This bread tastes amazing when soaked in juice and honestly has become my favorite part of the sandwich sometimes on par with the beef itself. The beef is exceedingly good but not the best I've had. However, there is a lot of it and for $10.95 I'm so glad it does cause it makes it quite a large sandwich once it adds the red peppers, onion, and cheese to the mix! These were some of the most flavorful red peppers that I've had from a place where I could get my order to-go!
The parmesan chips were essentially kettle chips with parmesan sprinkled on them... and thats all they need to do to make a great side for a...
Read moreMy girlfriend used to work in the same building with Tina's for quite a while, so almost every single day she was telling me how delicious her lunch was. They moved a while ago, but she still remembers the place, and passing by on the weekend we decided to pickup a lunch.
First thing first, the interior is super authentic and it has its own unique spirit. Those shelves with pictures, then spices, even those lovely tables and chairs... That difference makes it!
The owner, Tina was super nice and friendly; talking to her I even picked up some Italian :) She definitely knows the drill, and since the place is normally packed, people appreciate that.
I came over right when they were about to close on Saturday afternoon, so I had to take the lunch out, but next time for sure I am dining in!
The food was just perfect; I mean look at those pictures! The recipies are unique - even though there is an Italian place in pretty much any town around, you won't see the same items on the menu nowhere else.
This place has something extraordinary, I definitely recommend anyone around to visit it. If I was working in the area, this place would've been on...
Read moreFirst experience at Tina's. We had walked by it multiple times but it has limited hours so it wasn't open when we wanted to try it previously. SO glad we tried it today. We were greeted by the owner immediately despite the entire restaurant being packed full. We got the last available table and immediately got drinks & fresh bread with olive oil/parmesan cheese. The free bread was so delicious, I bought a loaf to take home with me!!!
We had the Penne Pasta (todays special menu) & the Italian Sandwich (regular menu) with the house salad. Both of our salads were fresh with fresh ingredients. Very delicious. The Penne Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was DELICIOUS. I WISH I COULD BOTTLE IT UP AND TAKE IT HOME WITH ME. The Italian sandwich was delicious too, but I do wish the focaccia bread had been warmed but that is just a preference. We bought an Italian cookie sampler to bring home and try some desserts later and ordered another Penne Pasta to take home for later it was so good. The owner again stopped by our table and asked us how the food was. Everything was a very positive experience and will definitely make this a...
