My family drove across town to get boba drinks because our usual source is closed on Mondays. We purchased dragon fruit tea and passionfruit tea. Although they were cold and refreshing, they were not as sweet as what we are used to and slightly bitter. Perhaps they may be a bit more healthy than the ones we usually get. The lines moved slower than we would like. This may be due to the evening commuters stopping for refresments. I will try this location again to see if I caught them on an off day. I like to be fair, so I will try a different menu item and a different time of day to see if my experience was out of the ordinary. This location is not a chain. I like to support small businesses, and this is not a fast food restaurant, so the time it took to get our drinks was reasonable, with just two...

My daughter and I couldn’t wait to try out Royal Bubble Tea! She is a bubble tea connoisseur and loved the classic bubble tea! I chose the mango slush which was refreshing but more “milky” than “mango fruity.” We also ordered the Oreo cheesecake( not sure if made in-house, but was ok), and a pesto grilled cheese. My only gripe, was the cheese used, which tastes like a cross between processed American cheese and cheese whiz. It did not match with the pesto and was a tad off-putting. The ciabatta bread was okay, but I would opt for white cheese and better bread: mozzarella, Gruyère, Gouda, or white cheddar, which would have let the pesto shine on slices of farmhouse rustic white bread to complete it! Still, I think their Bubble Tea, ultimately, is the star...

Royal Tea Boba & Sweets was awesome. They're a small family owned and operated hidden gem in the heart of Hagerstown's downtown Arts & Entertainment District. It was my 1st time there and didn't know anything about boba drinks. My daughter Sophie and i went and we loved the drinks. Molka & Mesa who greeted us with smiles were very friendly and knowledgeable about their drinks. My daughter tried the Strawberry Dragonfeuit Tea & I had the Mango Slush. Both of us loved our drinks. Very fruity & full of flavor. Stop by and have Molka or Mesa make 1 of their delicious creations. You will not be disappointed. I'll be...

I love this place so much. I drive 40 minutes just to get a boba and Dubai strawberries. The owners are so sweet it reminds me of a small mom and pop shop. Small businesses like this are always my favorite. My favorite is the brown sugar boba with extra brown sugar. I haven't tried anything else cause the 1st one I got was so good I can't get enough! If you try it once, you will love it! Come support Royal tea boba and try one of their drinks or yummy sweets. I come every week sometimes twice a week.
