This place flat out has poor customer service skills, poor products, and an overall poor business model. Here's what happened:
Time #1 They did NOT put ANY sour cream on any of me and a buddy's three soft taco supreme. No biggie, people have bad days and mess up sometimes. Whatever. Next,
Time #2 Again, about 2 weeks later me and the same friend decided to give Taco Bell another go. So, we pull up to the drive thru and order, " 2 soft taco supreme, 1 hard taco supreme, and 1 soft fresco taco". So my friend jokingly said, "Yeah, and can you please make sure they put the sour cream on our taco supremes this time?" With a chuckle. Then, the woman on the intercom turned into a viscous werewolf (to put it PG) and started screaming at us that fresco tacos are NOT made with sour cream. She sat there arguing with my friend that my friend wanted sour cream on a fresco taco. We just wanted our sour cream on our supremes! Is that asking too much?!
Time #3 Yes, I did the survey and also called the headquarters (as directed by the end of the survey). They sent me a coupon for two (2) free menu items of my choice. So, I thought cool, I'll give them one more shot. This time, it's on the house! I took the buddy that dealt with the nonsense with me. I ordered a beef chalupa supreme and my friend got a chicken chalupa supreme. And when we pulled away to the parking lot and looked at the food 😢😢😢!!! It was like they were punishing us and they made sure not to give us a receipt so we couldn't complain. But, I have a voice!!! Check out these nasty...
Read moreI had reservation about going here from the reviews and after going realize why I NEVER make my mind up from OTHER PEOPLES EXPERIENCES. We walked in and the cooks were busy so one of them immediately said he would be right with us. NO PROBLEM. The young lady who served us was pleasant and efficient. Still NO PROBLEM. Our food was made quickly and brought out to us by a cook (if not working manager...if not, should be😉) He showed us everything we ordered and asked if we needed anything else. I jokingly said "yeah a piece of that great smelling chicken" he said "how about some fresh baked cookies? Your son has on his Santa hat!"😶 SO....after we get home after a 10 minute drive I open up our food and see fully stuffed fresh crispy shell tacos. Moral of the story? Make your own judgement and try this again. Also for people with no common sense in their skull, if you go to MOST RESTAURANTS OF ANY KIND 8 minutes before they close on a Tuesday or during a lunch or dinner rush, you get whay you get. It's not them...it's you. (P.S. We went 3 p.m. on a Monday when they are getting ready for dinner....see how that works 😉) please see photo of our beautiful...
Read moreTonight I drove to the Hampstead, MD Taco Bell drive-thru for dinner. The drive-thru menu sign wasn't lit even though it was nearly dark. I was asked for my order before I even came to a complete stop. I stated that I wasn't ready to order yet, mentioning that I could barely see the menu options. I was told there was nothing they could do about it, then asked again what I would like to order, again with no time to look at the menu (even if I could see it). Exasperated, I just ordered two Mexican pizzas and a burrito supreme. Upon arriving at the pick-up window, the employee took my money, then literally threw my change into my hand as he turned away, resulting in some of my change hitting the ground. Needless to say, no one bothered to say "thank you" for my order.
Then it only got worse. My drive home is literally only about four to five minutes, yet the Mexican pizzas were cold. They had almost nothing on them, unbelievably bad! The burrito was equally Spartan in its ingredients, measuring maybe about an inch thick.
I have eaten at other Taco Bells, and usually come away happily satisfied. The Hampstead , MD location is an absolute...
