The Burger Bar by Wegmans — Restaurant in Hanover Township

First time visit at Wegman's Burger Bar. Very pleasant atmosphere. One of the very best burgers I ever have had. Came with a Cesar Salad. Tip for Wegman's: very good Cesar dressing. Too many croutons. Use about half and give a little more romaine and dressing. Had the soup of the day...some kind of spicy pulled pork. I love spicy dishes, but this soup was harsh and with each spoonful I was getting the message to stop. Took me 5 or 6 spoonfuls to stop. I'm a slow learner. But, want a great burger.... stop in. You will not be disappointed. Oh, one more thing. Wegman's have decided that dispensing paper straws will give them a gold star with environmental activists. Bring your own straw cuz halfway through your drink the straw...

I ordered the vegetarian burger, from the Burger Bar. Seems they use their own (generic) patties. It tasted like a combination of "beyond" meat and an old rubber shoe. Quite possibly the worst burger I have ever eaten! I got the fries (an add on) which were good, and a bottle of Wegmans (home brand) flavored water, which was totally bland. My whole meal came to over $18, which is more like restaurant prices (except this place doesn't have any extras - like coleslaw, a pickle, fries etc), and everything about my meal looked low-end fast food. At these prices and this quality, I definately...

Incredible array of options to choose if you want to eat. Impossible burger for me...was delicious. Was a tad pricey...two people two burgers two fries one fountain drink one medium hot chocolate. 30.00 but honestly...it didn't matter...if you got this at a restaurant you would not blink at that price. Again. Delicious. Only reason it's NOT five stars is because of price/location expectation. At the end of the day, as good as it is...it's a supermarket. Be careful if you try and take a date there for Valentine's Day!! They better be...
