We were thrilled at the prospect of a new coffee shop coming to this corner of Haverhill, which makes it that much more disappointing that our experience wasn't great. We stopped in for two coffees to go and were the only patron's ordering food. 10 minutes, and ~$16 dollars later, we were able to walk out with two small coffees. There were two employees behind the counter, and I had to give my order 3 separate times throughout their preparation process. The order was uncomplicated - small french vanilla iced latte with oatmilk...
In my opinion, the value of the coffees just wasn't there. For almost ~$8 for a small coffee, I expected my coffee to taste great, though it was average at best.
The combination of lengthy preparation time, overpriced average coffee, and the need to repeat my order multiple times is why unfortunately this shop will not be in our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can see why this cafe is named āThe Vibes Cafeā! It literally has good vibes all around, from the interior/decor of the building, to the food and staff! From the moment I walked into the cafe, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Joshua. Him and his team were so very kind and professional. The cafe is absolutely beautiful inside and the music that plays in there touches the heart; wonderful gospel music. The cafe is Christian-owned and Joshua shares the neighborly Godly, Christ-like love to all of the customers such as myself who walk through that door. Now for the menu, it includes a great selection, I decided to go for the chicken and waffles, 10/10!! Their pastries are delightful too, the cookie was warm and fresh. Will be returning soon, and may God continue to have His grace over this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecond time ordering- first time was in house on their opening week and food was veruy good. This time Door Dashed to a location less than a mile from their location and was not really impressed with the food or packaging. Bag was covered in grease stains and not sealed or closed, with no order ticket. I orded the steak and cheese egg rolls- which were very bland and the New York Chop that was not wrapped in foil but laid on a foil sheet in the large take out container. The meat was all over the place and WAY too much mayo and both halves had really thick tomatoes. I ate my sandwhich with a fork and threw out the bread. based on my first experience and the assumed high dinner volume on a Saturday night- I will not write them off completely- Will try again...
