Kings....ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! This Location has amazing service The food is good quality with plenty of it and the presentation is perfect. Our waitress was very helpful in making suggestions and in general just very friendly with the conversation. We wanted perogies but didn't want to buy the whole meal so she said we'll do a perogi appetizer to go along with our entrees, The perogies did not disappoint.. slightly sauteed with onions and sour cream on the side they were absolutely wonderful. My wife got the hot roast beefed dinner with mashed potatoes and there plenty to go around believe me. I got the hot roast beef grilled cheese which as you can see in the picture was more than your standard grilled cheese. The food was really over the top it was better than advertised. Let's talk about cleanliness, As you walked in this Kings location it was very well organized with a beautiful pie case staring back at you just daring you to have a slice! They were organized, clean shiny floor and the booth we were seated had a clean residue free top. The both seats had no stains or unsightly tears or scuffs.. I am not from around the area, and I was just blown away that there are still Kings in PA! So naturally I stopped in to get a bite! I went here twice recently, so I unfortunately cannot give proper credit to both waitresses, but both times I came I was seated right away, no crazy noise going on, just nice and peaceful. As soon as I was seated, almost immediately I would be asked what I would like to drink. Excellent service from Kathi, and was grateful to have her as my server that afternoon. She consistently checked in on my table as often as she could with the other customers in there, and I never had to wonder "where is my waitress?" 😂 Food was amazing BOTH times I came here. 10/10 experience, no doubt. I will always stop in when I'm in the area and hungry. DON'T stop at the Eat N Park close by though. The reason I came the second time (because I knew I would get good food and service here!) was because I had to wait to be seated there, then after being seated I waited over 5 minutes with no one even asking me what I want to drink. I went here years ago pre-family and it was exactly how I remembered it. Now years later returning with my husband and children to sit down for a meal it didn't seem like it had changed much. Still a spacious restaurant, with a great variety of menu options for young and old alike, the wait staff were friendly and accommodating(depending on who you get they might move a little slower). Overall it was a pleasant experience with great affordable comfort food and service. Also a surprising amount of food you receive for the reasonable price you pay. We had the Artichoke Spinach Dip and Zucchini Fries for starters and they were a hit with our family of five. I highly recommend the Broccoli Cheese Soup!!
