Cliff's Restaurant — Restaurant in Hollywood

Been here about 3 times for their lunch specials. Wow!! I've had well over a dozen Jamaican restaurants all across Miami and Broward. Cliffs is definitely top 3. Their food is absolutely delicious and tremendous value. Such authentic flavors. The food is 5 stars. I gave them 4 stars only because the place has seen better days. It's a cozy and spacious. Has tons potential to be a very nice establishment. Perhaps its time to invest in fixing it up and updating. Besides that. I'll be back for sure when I'm in the area. There was nobody in the restaurant on this particular weekend. Nice oldies music playing. Ordered curry goat which was tender. The jerk chicken taste like it's baked with little jerk season. Rice and peas could use a bit more peas. The food was extremely hot. Had to wait for it to cool down to eat and enjoy it. Could be because the lady thought we wanted it to go and not eat there. Nonetheless this location food was pretty good. Pool tables and full bar to enjoy a good night out. Just know if you pay with a credit card there is a fee. This place is a joke. Drove by this place all the time not knowing they even exist. Walked in and the place was dark and the dj was playing to a crowd of 1 who was waiting for sometime for there food. Walk up to the counter and waited about 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Finally the hostess shows up with her phone in hand texting while I ask what they have for the evening.
